How and why exactly is Messi's 2012 Ballon d'Or even there and selected by France Football? Messi did not deserve the 2012 Ballon d'Or he got dunked by CR7 in El Classico, had an underwhelming UCL KO campaign, literally only scored 2 penalties against Milan in the QF, the Chelsea decable and then lost the league to Real Madrid. Ended up trophyless excluding UEFA Super Cup and FIFA CWC...

His 2011 or 2015 Ballon d'Or should have been selected instead.
