>>17083925And? We are the most intelligent species on the planet. Single dominant species happens exactly because cultural advancement is so much easier than physiological advancement. If cultural advancement required advancements in IQ then you would see multiple intelligent species at different stages of IQ advancement but you don't see that. This is because getting the minimum IQ for any cultural advancement immediately makes you space faring in couple of generations which prevents any local competition from arising. Chimps are still thousands of generations away from our level of intelligence and that's with a direct path which won't happen when we are around.
