Brain is capable learning languages in matter of hours and yours probably already know around 10 if not more, you can actually play several musical instruments and can do math faster then actual calculator... but you don't have conscious access to it. Excellent design btw... what's worse that partial skills might only appear by accident or sometimes in dreams when your brain is in overdrive.So there is a filter because if you were aware of everything you would just get overwhelmed so instead of this you have to spend years to learn something that your brain probably already knows and fully understands....
