That looks very fake. Why would they all be pointed in the same direction?
    >>
    >>17081698
looks fake. how do they even track? there's no space for each one

how do they track the fucking sky you moron? what the fuck does a telephoto lens do when the whole fucking Earth is spinning around? how do you keep the telescope locked to a point in the fucking sky? how does it track the sky you brainlet? doesn't it have to like...MOVE???

according to soience space is infinite

The problem isn't that they're all pointing the same direction but that they're all pointing in the same direction simultaneously while being that fucking clustered together. What if I want to look at something in an entirely different region of the sky with my big dick energy 18" SCT? Now suddenly I'm crossing the paths of like 20 other scopes.

It could be that these sheds are a lot wider than they look and the scopes have ample clearance and the camera is just flattening things, but still, that's a lot of scopes to pack into what look like pretty standard shacks at a glance.

they could have funded a much better observatory instead of buying this many small telescopes

The photo was obviously taken during the day, I suppose it's the resting position.

I did speculate that the sheds were wider than presented in the image and that the camera was just flattening the perspective. Some digging shows the shacks have some decent spacing, enough for six scopes width-wise.

You still wouldn't want to be stuck in the spot adjacent to some big ass 16"+ scope though.

You are a rock star, anon.

Maybe you could makeshift one in your home, find a spare open spot, even the roof, and make a box with a remote removeable lid.
