Chess is wonderfully productive. It helps one visualize how different pieces respond to the same board.
Go is superior as every piece is an identical to be used by the Emperor as he pleases.

>>17080374Im a master on chess, but you will never be able to master go because its too complicated. Its not made for human brains. But chess did.C hess is pure pattern recognition combining patterns , one can create combinations, with combinations you can checkmate ur opponent by sacrificing nearly all of your board, but does really Go extend this feel of joy beyond further?
>>17080371Agreed. Though I mean its a lot of pattern recognition.
>>17080380>>17080384>believes themselves to be more than meat for the grinderChess makes people delusional by making them feel superficial differences matter. Oh you’re left-handed and have a wart. Witch much? You never see this with Milton-Bradley games.
>>17080374I don't like Go because I have no idea how it works, and I played my friend who has been an avid player for years, and I beat him 5 times in a row despite just doing random shit that I didn't understand. So it feels pointless to try to learn.
