I saw the crunchyroll lineup for 2026 as being published today for example in spring 2023, although most of them were draft storyboards with subtitle only, mostly in pencil sketch. Some were single panels rather than motion drafts. Anyway, point being, watching the finished products finally being published complete with the soundtracks, vocal performances, lighting overlays, effects and all the editing work doesn't feel like something I've seen before at all. It's fresh and new, and it's like watching a newborn barf everywhere and shit its diaper, then seeing them working an office job as CIO 45 years later. It's cool as fuck.If you like the media, you don't need to be a creator to author, illustrator or artist. You just want to get involved at some point in the process where your talents contribute to the finished project to take a lot of pride in seeing it realized. No matter how small a part, like mine was.
The dude at the supermarket bagging groceries probably doesn't realize the part played in realizing that project as it comes to fruition. Much like a beach or snow covered landscape is made of billions of grains of sand, or snowflakes, each one trivially replaceable but nonetheless unique. It might be difficult to come to terms with being just another gear in the works, but, having any place at all there as an essential component is pretty dope.
>>85869995>Those are contradictory statements. It's more that once you're working as a creator you start to critique things at a level most fans are never aware of. For example I understand all the individual steps in production, so I'm looking at it and noticing the one out of place grain of sand back there in the copy shown to publishers in 2015. A lot of people do not realize that these ideas are not created "on the spot", they emerge from the entire lifetime of the creator. They might have had that idea as a 5 year old kid, but it took until they were 45 years old to make it real. And when I say "production" I'm not talking about manga/anime at all. I know zero about that stuff.

>>85869899>>watched all the good animeEvery year, a bunch of new, good anime release. There is plenty of entertainment for the foreseeable.
