quitting weed. what a dilemma. be happy or have a sharper mind. what would you guys choose?
    >>
I quit to pass a drug test for my job and never picked it back up. in my 30s it seems pointless anyway. I just drink instead. weed was never something I did to be happy anyway, it often made me feel paranoid and insecure. but I guess that's why we really do it. isn't it? because it's exciting. It's not the chill drug that people imagine. I've seen plenty of people smoke weed and get into fights. it's quite a powerful mind altering drug, really.

    >be me
    >start smoking weed at 25
    >start gooning every day after work and all weekend
    >no motivation besides weed, games, cumming
    >quit at 27
    >get gf shortly after
    >married at 29
    >dad at 30
    >homeowner at 32

i chose sharper mind. i was probably happier back then but i feel better about myself with six figures
    >>
Honestly it makes no difference for me. My struggle with sobriety is that I view other human life like it's worthless. When I have to go out and deal with strangers, hell even family, I have the overwhelming urge to pummel that person to death. So for me drugs keep me docile.

the thing is money nor women interest me. I need to make a living but 6 figures isn't necessary for me and most likely never will since I've spent my entire life alone and will most likely continue to do so not by choice but because that's just how God made me. It feels nice to have a clear mind but with this clarity all the reasons why I dislike myself and dislike this world are constantly assaulting my mind
    >>

that doesn't matter. just get a job and accrue a paycheck. you can still do it with all that assaulting your mind.

    yeah. What a pointless existence.

if you weren't an NPC you'd have figured out something better by now. if not, be a wage slave instead. you gotta do something.

i quit smoking weed a year go and am also a total loner
at firts it takes a bit to adjust but i would rather be interested in things and have a sharp mind than just numbing up every day and having weird anxiety from too strong of thc
and i stopped gooning to porn too
    along with gaming every day

I dont know what to pick either
When Im on gummies Im just such a piece of shit. I have no motivation to do anything besides play videogames, I ignore everyone, neglect my fitness, and it makes me feel burned out from work and from people.

But I also feel super emotionally leveled out and sleep like a baby.

Every attempt I make to stay off of it for the last like 5 years fails eventually. What do?

don't quit it, just reduce it. if you use it properly it can give you skills to take back with you to sober life so you no longer need it for some of the things it does.
you need to control your use but you clearly aren't ready to quit, you'll know when it's time to quit because you'll actually want to.
    >>
weed was an easy choice for me because without it I was already living like a pothead but without any of the upsides. some people unravel because they're too uptight, not too laid-back.
I think it's good for people who need to redo their childhood but it should be a temporary thing so you can grow up.

i had to quit smoking it because it now instantly causes bad inflammation in my back and seriously aggravates a crippling injury that i can otherwise live with, i could bake edibles with all of the flower i'm sitting on but i'm lazy and don't know how to make sure i don't accidentally create some horrific megadosed brownie
i started kratom instead this year but i'm pretty sure it somehow gave me fucking glue ear so i've been back to soberiety for 2 weeks so far and it really fucking sucks life is seriously not worth living like this
i get a couple dozen hydrocodone next week at least
