>>85868206Nah, Trick or Treating is still a thing, at least where I live. Rural or urban areas may have adapted to trunk or treat, but sheltered suburban areas still do it since it's still safe for then to go door to door at dusk and most people expect kids to come by and expect candy
>>85868107I hate half the chocolates I was supposed to pass out
>>85868406Well you probably deserved it. Did you enjoy it? That's all that really matters.

>>85868206>trunk or treating. What the fuck is Trunk or Treating? Anyway I still have an hour to go before I can turn off the porch light and any late trick or treaters are out of luck. But I don't expect to see any. I actually bought a big box of tiny chocolate bars about a month ago when all the Hallowe'en shit started appearing in stores, but of course I ended up eating it all before tonight. So I had to go out this morning and get more candy. I got a little group of tiny kids at my door at half-past three in the afternoon and being a sucker I held out the bowl of candy and said "Grab a handful, kids!" When I saw what a huge dent in the supply those tiny little hands made by the time the feeding frenzy had stopped I was thinking maybe I better go back to the store for even more candy.Sadly, about an hour after that a cold, drizzling rain started up and isn't expected to let up until two in the morning. I haven't seen a single trick or treater since the little kids this afternoon. I don't get it really, when I was a little kid there was an army of us on the street, and most of my childhood memories of Hallowe'en are of trudging through the snow from house to house wearing a parka over my costume. I'm thinking it must be the parents have killed off the whole trick-or-treating thing, but of course this isn't a "High-trust society" anymore either, so ultimately I blame the jews.
>>85868107>>How are you spending your Halloween? It's just like any other day but later tonight I will be watching movies, and maybe and just maybe actually finishing splatterhouse cuz it's not really that hard>>Spooky movie recs?I'll be watching nightmare on elm street, that used to be my favorite.
>>85868985Basically the children do not walk through neighborhoods anymore. They meet at church or school parking lots and pass out candy from their car trunks.
