It's not too late to detransition and embrace being who you were meant to be.Pretending to be anyone else won't help you feel better, and it will only keep you in a bubble.I believe in you anon. You don't have to be confused anymore.
>>85867856Tranny stuff is so weird. Why you feel the need to comment about it is beyond me.
>>85867870It's my first time on /r9k/ in a long while, and i'm kinda disappointed to see the amount of trans-threads.That's why I'm guessing there's a lot of lurkers like that, and I'd want to aid them in getting rid of their confusion.
>>85867856Being trans genuinely makes me happy idk why you want to take that from me
>>85867887Just block those threads, you dingus. Ignore that shit
>>85867856This is the wrong board for your sick fantasies
>>85867903I'm sure it does make you happy, but it's happy the same way people are happy when they do drugs, or happy when they're surrounded by fellow members of a cult who affirm their thoughts. If you want to be happy outside your bubble, you have to pop it.It will be painful, but it will be worth it in the long run.>>85867915>>85867917It's like you've already given up on these people. They deserve help.
>>85867938>I'm sure it does make you happyYeah so why exactly do you want me to unhappy?
>>85867956Because the happiness doesn't last, anon. Having your thoughts affirmed by a small ingroup is nice, but it's not healthy. You deserve better than a small room. You don't want the rest of the world to look down on you or ridicule you. There is a reason why the suicide rate is so high in the transgender circle. The stress and criticism from the outside world will eventually catch up to you, and it's important to understand why before you lose your grasp over it.You're only happy while you're in your happy place, and unhappy when you have to leave it. Does that really make you happy in the long run?
>>85867984When people don't like me I don't care I don't need to be liked by everyone. Most people don't even know I'm trans, it's such a non issue in my life I don't know why you think it's a big deal. I genuinely forget I'm trans too I'm not thinking about it 99% of the time it only comes up in like doctors appointments
>>85867938>It's like you've already given up on these people. They deserve help. No, I just think people should have the freedom to make their own decisions even if I don't necessarily agree with them.
>>85868031You might not care what others think, but others do care about what you think. That's the cruelty of the world. If it's a non-issue for you, and you often forget, then why are you trans? Why does it make you happy?>>85868041Would you say the same thing to a child that's putting its hands on a hot stove? Granted, these are adults, but their decisions are harmful to themselves, and their beliefs can and do impact children. Ideas don't live in a vacuum.
>>85868065Before I would think about it a lot and I used to be sad a lot because I felt like I was the wrong gender but now I feel like that issue is resolved so I'm glad it's not bothering me anymore. Obviously I don't want to go back to how it was before and I don't know why you want me to back to being miserable either. I'm trans because it solved my problem I don't think about my gender anymore
>>85868134Because before it used to be you thinking you are the wrong gender. Now it's the rest of the world thinking you are the wrong gender. You can close out the rest of the world, but it's lonely. The small community of people who will affirm your way of thinking is small.I'm just assuming that you don't have children yet, or that you want none.I don't think you can ignore those outside voices forever, and they will get to you most in a moment of weakness. You just have to remind yourself that it's not real.
>>85868181Why would I have sympathy for the rest of the world when the rest of the world doesn't have sympathy for me?
>>85868196It's not about sympathy. It's about living in a shared state of understanding. The rest of the world doesn't understand you as you do. Everyone only has a superficial understanding of one another based on a shared culture.Everyone who looks at you will assume something about you. And within a microsecond they'll have made a judgment about who or what you might be.Those judgments will always be harmful to you no matter what, but if you choose to be particular about one specific thing which doesn't match their expectations, they will zone out entirely under the assumption you're weird.Transgenderism is all about making yourself vulnerable about this specific subject, and you only harm yourself with it, as others don't care. You can ignore their ignoring, but it makes your compatibility even smaller, and leads to isolation, especially when you get older.I'd compare it to the people who are still masking for Covid. They believe something nobody else does, and it's only harmful to them. You can be content in isolation, but it won't lead to a fruitful life, and it's more likely to lead to being unhappy than finding happiness in a soulmate.
>>85868245Did you go through a phase of thinking you were trans or something? If yes I feel like we've talked before
>>85868269No, I doubt we've spoken before.I haven't been where you are, and i haven't ever tried to transition, so i don't know what that's like exactly.Being accepted doesn't rest purely on your willingness to go along with cultural standards. You can be an outcast regardless of how hard you try, but trying becomes far easier when everyone understands each other, even superficially.
>>85868304Oh okay, I don't feel like an outcast though I think my life is pretty normal now
>>85868341Even if you don't feel like an outcast, it's important to understand that your thoughts would be considered outlandish by most people you interact with.If you think your state of mind is pretty much normal now, then it might be more internalized than you think. If possible you should try to venture out more, and interact with people who don't share your worldview, to get an understanding just how many problems you'd face going into any new social environment or relationship. This isn't meant as a means to intimidate or hurt you, but merely to test the waters.
>>85867856I'm sorry your stuck in your body and hate yourself :3 Maybe your not trans but your probably very sad and unhappy with life ^3^The truth is that I'm very happy with myself and how I look! It's given me goals to work forward and I've met my bf because I started making myself happier by being me ^v^Suck my tranny dick lol
>>85868364What thoughts? I told you I don't think about being trans most of the time>interact with people who don't share your worldviewThose who wish death upon all trannies? Why should I bother? I think thinking stuff like that is sad in general, I don't want to interact with people like that regardless of which minority they dislike
>>85868368I'm sorry you feel that way!Living in a tiny bubble can be a fascinating little treat, especially if you got there by being bullied or harmed into it, and the bubble just seemed like a safe place to be.But it's not natural, and there's many real real consequences to transitioning that lead to harm. You could suffer depersonalization, or suicidal thoughts from the outside pressure. It's important to stay in touch with the the external world, so we don't let ourselves be weakened by only internal stimuli. All in all I hope you find some people who will be friends with you after you leave your bubble. People who mean well and want the best for you no matter how you perceive yourself.>>85868381You don't think about it because it's internalized to you! Other people might think about your choices more than you, whether they have an opinion on it or not, they might feel you are incompatible with them.I don't want to put you in harm's way, and the death threats are horrible. Those are not excusable. You are a human being like any other, and deserve help with getting back into society.I don't want you being cussed out, but I don't want you living a lonely, imprisoned life either. I want all options open for you, but it requires you yourself to change your perspective of who you are, to who you were.
>>85868427I'm literally the opposite of lonely and imprisoned >Other people might think about your choices more than you,I think they would be happier too if they learned to mind their business
>>85868454>I'm literally the opposite of lonely and imprisoned I'd challenge that. Do cashiers call you by your preferred gender? Does your extended family? Has dating thusfar been easy?
>>85868465>Do cashiers call you by your preferred gender?Yes>Does your extended family? My parents kicked me out when before I was trans, I never told them>Has dating thusfar been easy?I mean I've had relationships before but I don't really want one right now
>>85868454In Algeria, sometimes in the early 2010's, was a young boy who was happily engaged in a sexual relationship with a Moroccan man at the age of seven. Today, he is between 24-27 years old, married, in fact, to that same man, in a bustling city on the East Coast of the United States. Being happy, and engaging to the best of his abilities with autonomy, who are we to question? Even at the age of seven, when we might wish to question, we must remember to mind our business. We would be much happier, of course, minding our business. Still, we twitch for the answer>But at that age--At that age, allegedly, they can know gender related questions, and gender is related to how one's body is sexually expressed, and to be able to make irreversible decisions relating to this, one must not be too concerned with ones that don't necessarily result in irreversibly changes. Puberty blockers, for instance, nearly universally result in lower fertility, less masculine development, etc., and their reversibility is limited to the lack of sterility (even so, a great many end up sterile when puberty blockers are reversed). The simple delay of puberty by a single year is a medical concern in a normal setting and associated with many negative outcomes, these things resulting from congenital hypogonadism also occur in chemical puberty blocking. So they can make these decisions, why care so much when there is less permanent harm?It is a simple case of moral imperialism. In reality, I would like to kill the Moroccan man. But I cannot. What has happened has happened, it is what it is, and in the future, as we transition ourselves to a more radical form of "autonomy" these questions will rather disappear entirely.
>>85868530 >In Algeria, sometimes in the early 2010's, was a young boy who was happily engaged in a sexual relationship with a Moroccan man at the age of sevenThere goes my good faith discussion I'm not reading the rest of that
>>85868551Good. Mind your business.
>>85868560I thought we were having a normal conversation but clearly your mind is going towards a disturbing direction
>>85868583I am a different anon entirely. Sometimes questions are best answered with disturbing conclusions, but sometimes the conservatives like you are unwilling to confront them.
>>85868591>I am a different anon entirelyGo fuck yourself I want the other anon
>>85868610Mind your business then, you would be much happier.
>>85868427Are these >>85868530 the people you wanted me to engage with? Absolutely not hopefully now you can see I was right to not engage with those kinds of people
