It's not "muh nostalgia" it's that everything is genuinely shit and everyone lost human connection and we've reached peak low trust society and are racing towards police state.
there aren't even places to have real conversations with people anymore online. Psycho leftist control freaks attacked and controlled all vectors for online gathering only to be shocked when neocons took the power they consolidated and used it on them and just made everything shitty for everyone.

But there are glimmars of hope here and there.
