Tell me a spooky ghost story, robots.
This morning I woke up to sticky white goo covering my bedsheets. A ghost must've emitted ecotplasm!!!
Here's an actual ghost story from my time working at aldi. I saw this old black guy he looked like a homeless guy. Very dirty, horrible teeth and he smelled. He was pushing around a cart filled to the brim with items. He approached me while I was stocking items and asked me if I could help him find cereal. I told him, sure the cereal is in the next aisle. he thanked me multiple times seeming unusually grateful and then went on his way with his almost overflowing cart. I decided to keep an eye on him so I followed behind him. When he turned the corner into the cereal aisle, I gave it about a second before I did the same but when I did he was completely gone. He and his entire cart had simply disappeared. I looked around the entire store but still he was nowhere to be found. It's not possible for this to have happened. I asked the cashiers if they had noticed anyone with that description leaving the store and they said no. I asked other people on the floor if they had seen him and they all said no. I told the manager the story and she was amused enough by it to check the cameras and we were never able to find this guy or even my interaction with him. To this day I can't find an explanation for what happened.

Though it isn't a scary story but a sad one, a young housewife had been murdered in the place decades before and the flat was regarded as haunted. Usual weird shit like noises, voices, things moving around in plain sight and weird presences felt.Rather than nope-ing the fuck out though I tried living with it, and treating it like another person living there. Conversed aloud, prepared meals for two, etc. I also did some digging into what happened and the lady herself, and tried to find music and entertainment and stuff from the time she was living. Eventually the haunting stopped being malicious and I lived well with it fr the rest of the time that I was there.

>>85865630I tried that but I got better results just talking/conversing to her directly. Obviously she didn't talk back but I'd hear a noise like a knock or something move, and sort of figured a crude form of communication from that. Extremely basic but it was something, and overtime I recognized patterns enough to figure out a sense of what she "wanted" so that constantly asking wasn't necessary
