>>85864484Cats are very fun and special, you have to let them do their thing though and respect their preferences. They're not like dogs, you can't punish them to teach them something, only positive reinforcement works, and for best behavior you gotta respect their likes and dislikes. But all that being said, cats are pretty wonderful, and when they like you and choose you it feels genuine.
Theyre very cute whimsical creatures. If you raise them well to tolerate a lot of touching and handling they will be your baby. I love my cats so much they just do silly goofy shit and then nap all day
>>85864484#1 rule about having a pet cat: Do not
Outside of living out in the countryside and using them as pest control, they're an accessory that you can attempt to project an image at women with. Same reason why people get dogs. You get a golden retriever, border collie, etc to show you're responsible and your magnanimity spills over onto even animal life. You get a mutt to project your kindness and how nice you are for adopting the world's refuse. You get a pitbull to show that you're the kindest, you're the sweetest, and you see the good in anything. >>85864498For example, this guy is projecting whimsicality, or letting it be known that he tolerates whimsicality well. Whether conscious of it or not, he wants this image projected. The The only significant tradeoff is that you, your clothes, and your house will smell like a cat's dick.

>>85864484I had a pet cat that was very aloof. I grabbed him one time and dragged him to the wilderness with me. He was still being his aloof self until he found a snek in the grass, which he immediately pounced at. Seeing a snek must've triggered something in him because he became more lively and was more receptive to headpats after that.
