Wise men know that it is best to appear to know nothing, so that nobody asks anything of you.

Laozi would be floored by my wisdom if he could see that not only do I pretend to know nothing, I actually do know nothing in reality too.

my goal in life is to be thought a useless fool so that people give me money and leave me alone

Perhaps I was spiritually Montenegrin this whole time. That image truly makes them seem like a people who understand the Epicurean spirit.
>>
>>85860211
I have never been able to do this and always end up having my extremely high level of competence, strength, and intelligence being utilized. It sucks but your alternative is just dreadfully boring and cringe. Using your body and mind to their utmost capacity is reverence to God.

>you should divvy up your talents and contribute them to the world, that's the godly thing to do

Not talking about desert rat hebrew nonsense, I mean actual Godliness. You know, being strong, smart, mighty, Odin type stuff, not meek and pitiful and mutilating your sons' genitals with sharp knives.

This is true. I work at a warehouse, I do the most shitty and isolated tasks where no one bothers me. The work isn't physically demanding and I do just well enough to get regular raises.

Nietzsche spoke of this:
>Whoever has seen deeply into the world has doubtless divined what wisdom there is in the fact that men are superficial. It is their preservative instinct which teaches them to be flighty, lightsome, and false.
This is something normies understand through experience which many intelligent people don't.

Oh yeah sure you are that's why you called him God as in the Christian God and not the literal name of whom you're now pretending to worship
>>
>>85860825
What makes you think he can pronounce the true name of the God that transcends all mortal religions, let alone put it into text?

you mean yahweh your jewish god?

I'm so sick and tired of pagan larpers that are just closeted Freemasons with a chip on their shoulder against Christianity
I'd rather have an actual chance to talk about paganism but EVERY TIME it's brought up it's in the context of owning the heckin Christcucks

Wanna talk about runes? Spirit animals? The Eddas? Lord of the Rings? Never. They'll unironically call you a jeet. It's laughably stupid and pathetic
>>
>>85861042
Where did jeets come into the equation? You aren't a jeet, are you? Post hand.
>>
>>85861042
Can you even be a European pagan outside of Europe? Assuming you live in the US, wouldn't you have to venerate the local nature spirits of the Native Americans if you want to be heard? If you are European then nevermind, carry on as you are.
>>
>>85861074
I think fucking with Native American stuff, like dream catchers and whatnot, would be a fantastic way to invite some kind of spiritual creature that hates your guts into your house to act like a nemesis in your life.
One of the most famous cases of this happening would be Jordan Peterson.
>>
>>85861143
I suppose that's one of the potential perils of trying to adopt the spiritual practices of a culture that you don't fully understand.
>>
>>85861042
You don't have to be a pagan larper or a larper of any kind to understand that Gods obviously should represent and embody strength, wisdom, might, mercilessly crushing your enemies, protecting your people etc, and not be about ensuring that jews are chosens who can practice usury and mutilate your children, worship weakness and forgiveness and whatever else the cuck religion espouses. I don't need literally any information at all to know what Gods are, are about, or do, because every human instinctively knows it very easily

Few understand

Why did you refer to it as reverence to God and not speak of them in the plural then? Because you're larping. You want the pagan clout but you don't actually give a shit. You say "Odin type shit" and then proceed to exactly in crisp detail describe "Thor type shit," but this is all aside, what you really want to do is to talk about Christianity. Well what if I don't give a shit? Doesn't matter, that's all you care about.

>>85861150
Or of an ethnos that you don't belong to.
If people really believe in beings transcendent of time and space that are patrons of their race, it would be really dumb to start plastering your walls with totems of Native American deities, dreamcatchers, african masks, etc
>>
>>85861240
I was basing it more on my own understanding of paganism, which is that the gods and spirits are directly tied to their physical spheres of influence. For example, Shintoism is tied directly to Japan. It wouldn't work outside of it, because their gods and spirits are tied to the land itself, and wouldn't be able to hear a Japanese person in the US. With that line of thinking it would only make sense to try and appeal to the gods of the land you currently occupy for spiritual workings, since they are the only ones who can geographically help you.
>If people really believe in beings transcendent of time and space that are patrons of their race
I like this interpretation too though. I tend to associate the idea with SS esotericism but I think there's something there too, though I'm not sure if I would call it paganism since it seems more like its own thing. It would make just as much sense for a divinity to watch out for his favored people regardless of where they live, and there's no reason to believe that this ability would be landlocked.

It makes me wonder who the patron god of multiracial people is. I imagine it would have to be a fairly new god manifested by their sheer quantity, seeing as people being multiracial on this scale and with such bizarre combinations simply didn't happen in ancient times. I don't imagine they would have access to the gods of their "halves", you know? Maybe they are simply godless, and no divinity will hear them no matter how hard they try to appeal to one.

A Montenegrin is sitting in his backyard. He calls into the house to his wife: "Quick, bring the antivenom!"
"Oh my god," she says, "Did a snake bite you?"
"No, but he's getting closer and closer..."
