Bravery is the traversal of the unknown in spite of fear. Confidence born of experience is not bravery, but comfort and familiarity. If you are comfortable and familiar, you should change course, for that can only lead to stagnation. This modern economy is living proof of that, all modern spheres are already established people refusing to bring in new people as they go headlong into their graves, bitterly restricting those trying to be brave from taking their seats of comfort. One is shamed and humiliated for taking their first steps now, and so many dont, making things get progressively worse and worse as less and less people do "necessary" work and everyone just chases the easiest rewards, or the lowest risk highest reward but lowest chance goals
