have you ever had a geometric nightmare anon?
apparently it's kind of rare.
>>
what is a geometric nightmare??

it's a specific type of nightmare where your brain is making you feel intense fear and it relates the fear to geometric shapes, you usually have them as a result of fevers, it's a really intense experience and because of how abstract it is, it amplifies the fear that you're already feeling feeling.
it's like your floating in a void and you see geometric shapes shrinking or zooming out to an infinite massive frightening distance it's really fucked up feeling.
it's like the opposite of a psychedelic trip where you get divine geometry.

i did once. i was drowning in paperwork and other stuff and i dreamed that that mass of problems was shaped like picrel but more extreme. it was like an object that you couldn't grab because it had so many edges and corners, just like i didn't know where to start in real life.
one of the most memorable dreams i've had.

you can relight the nightmare like a fire if you try to think of how you felt while having it, it's a unique almost synesthesia like feeling of fear, like you physically feel the fear. it's a unique fear i've personally never felt before the few times i've had the nightmare and it's always the same.
the first time i had it i was a child and i took some drug or something my dad was hiding because i thought it was candy and i had the experience.

>it's a unique fear
>you can relight the nightmare
a bit tangential but i can't really do that. i've had other moments like this (some while awake) and while i remember them and how i felt, i can't say i'm capable of immersing myself in the feeling again.

i used to have them as a kid, not really nightmares, but when i would close my eyes in the dark it would look like I'm tripping or something
interestingly it would go away if there was some light in the room, so i used to sleep with the tv on
now that I'm older it went away completely

I have one nightmare about cube that appears in an empty black space, then without actually changing size, I suddenly realize it is size of a planet and I was just not registering how big it was and how far away it was and I feel dying, biggest fear in my life and I wake up with 9001 rpm pulse.

Other is just the fact that I feel uncomfortable while seeing or thinking about traveling through 3D fractals. Where it is possible to experience this? There is videos, games, images etc. I always skip or close video when there is moving 3D fractal world. I hate those. It is same thing, you see this 3D space without understanding the scale and then you see something that registers the scale in your brain and you feel extremely uncomfortable. Fuck fractals.

yeah its just like that, it's an omnous shape then you realize it's gigantic and you get megalophobia, but it's like linked to the shape in a unique way, maybe it's different for everyone, but some things are similar.

i've only managed to willingly induce it once, i was having a fever and i could feel while awake that i was gonna have the nightmare again and i like manifested it into happening briefly, it wasn't as bad as the first few times though.

Yeah triangles. I sometimes have loop nightmares and the loop gets shorter and shorter until I wake up.

it was squares for me.
