This is an actual miracle drug for anxiety and social autism. Makes both my mental and physical symptoms of anxiety vanish. It's amazing, I can have constant cyclical thoughts and my stomach be in knots and an hour later it's just gone. Makes me talkative and at ease in social situations. Even went on a date and didn't feel nervous at all. So far I just take it as needed for certain social and work situations. Maybe averages to 1-2 times per week, 150mg dose. I can't believe a solution for basically all my misery was just out there all this time and I've suffered for nothing.
>>85853057it's associated with a big increase in dementia risk.
>>85853084I'm not concerned since I don't take it daily and I take a low dosage. The highest recommended dosage is 600mg and from what I've seen most people that take it daily are at around 300mg. Infrequent use like mine is much lower risk based on what I've red.
>>85853111did you ever try gabapentin? I tried it and it didn't work, and it's my understanding they're very similar.
I have been taking pregabalin but I feel no difference from before when I started. Is it true you can get high on it? What would be the right dose?
>>85853126I didn't, from what I read it seemed like pregabalin was the better choice. >>85853131When I started, I did get high sort of. It's a feeling of depersonalization/detachment and like you're sort of floating and you feel like you're controlling your body as if you were a pilot inside a mecha. It's a very weird feeling. There was also an uptick in mood, I just felt better but it wasn't euphoria really like on molly or something. That feeling persists for me for the first few hours after a normal dose but the detachment/floating doesn't which is nice. It's not really a pleasant high at least for me. For most people that high feeling goes away within a week if they are daily users. I don't know what the right dose would be, I don't really think this is a fun recreational drug at least for me.
