I didn't read what you said but Malfoid would have been a way more likeable character from a literary standpoint and would have made the series far more endearing. Like imagine if she is supposed to hate Harry and gradually her armor melts, culminating in her sweet surrender to her feelings at the end of the dual with Voldemort, betraying him for her love of Harry. Would have been a 10/10 slow burn love story.
