Curious metaphysics question, if we take nondualism or metaphysical and physical unity for granted. Doesn't this imply that sensory experience must be governed by the same laws of physics and logic as everything else? If so, maybe we can apply a conservation law. Why not? I can't think of a single religion or mystical tradition that didn't practice lifestyles which imply a net zero sum of sensory experience as evidenced either by partaking in suffering for themselves, or much more commonly, they prohibited themselves from any sensory indulgence, as though they had secret knowledge that it had consequences on others. This also explains the actions of the elites of society today and historically, though it does not absolve them as although they would be causing pleasure to someone else in reality, they would also be causing non consensual suffering. Not to mention the immorality of the non consensual pleasure as well.

>>545288693>if we take nondualism or metaphysical and physical unity for grantedIf you start your premise with nonsense why should anyone engage with it?

>>545288961Why do you think the premise is nonsense? In my mind if there is a similar character to spiritual experiences, isn't that data? I mean its not rigorous, but is it really nonsense you think?
