The Combating Antisemitism, Hate and Extremism Act 2026

Being a member of a banned group carries sentences of up to 7 years, while directors, recruiters, or financial backers can face up to 15 years.
• Aggravated Offences: Creates specific aggravated offences for religious officials (such as preachers) who threaten or encourage force and violence, or individuals encouraging child violence.
• Migration and Visa Powers: Broadly empowers authorities to refuse or cancel visas for individuals engaging in hate-motivated conduct, hate speech, or association with designated extremist groups.
