>>545284863Blue Texas is going to be a watershed moment in American politics. If you are a chuddie I suggest you prepare yourself mentally for the shift.
>>545284863
>>545284863>ITT just wait 3 days
>>545285001>obvious jew post
>>545285063Yeah, Dems have a shot, and frankly I’d rather none of them, but if you hold a gun to my head, I’d go with Talarico, as Paxton is the epitome of everything that is wrong with todays politics. Nevertheless I don’t think TX turns blue this time, but it will in several election cycles and the GOP doesn’t do shit about it, they are not ready.
>>545285001Nice try chud, I’m almost certainly whiter than you are.
>>5452848631. Despite all of the recent national attention I'm fairly sure the Alaska senate race was never in doubt to begin with.2. After all of the executive orders and court cases and purging of the voter rolls and intimidation of the illegal voters and so on and so forth, all of that election fortification that's happened over the last 2 years, are we thinking it's going to be business as usual or are we thinking it's going to be a step in a new direction? The democrat party is as unpopular as it's ever been and still more unpopular than Trump, all they can do is spam Epstien accusations.
>>545285102Imagine how Trump reacts to this.
Michigan will go to Roger’s because Dems don’t understand the difference between labor blue and troon blue.
>>545284863It's a very plausible map. At this point, I think Maine, Texas, and surprisingly Kansas are the biggest tossups.>>545285063Not necessarily. If Republicans win most of their winnable races and Abbot wins re-election, I think it will be dismissed as more of a candidate quality issue - which isn't hard because Texas Republicans thought Paxton was corrupt enough to try to remove him.The post-mortem will be "Paxton sucks, and the MAGA wing are retards whose preferred candidates need to be kept far from general elections," not "It's joever."Now, if Hinojosa also wins, that's a watershed moment.
>>545285323Well, Beto came within 3 points of ousting Ted Cruz. Paxton is pretty obviously a worse candidate than Cruz, Talarico is a better candidate than Beto, and Trump is less popular at this point than he was in 2018.
>>545285478Dems have the best chance with Abdul, because there is no fucking way in hell that that piece of shit Stevens with her fake ass hick accent and Israel in her dreams would have gotten anywhere in this race. It’s basically a tie rn.
>>545285478I disagree on the outcome, but I expect AES to ultimately underperform his polling even if he wins.
>>545285737not so fast
>>545285695also the economy was nowhere near as shit back in 2018, sure, but I expect the rise of completely brainwashed MAGApedes to show up in droves to >muh save Texas from the commie faggot
>>545286029That's possible. If I were to put money on it, I'd put it on Talarico. However, my gut says that Paxton edges by on a razor thin margin.>he rise of completely brainwashed MAGApedesThat's the interesting thing. I think Texas is more aligned with Republicans than it is aligned with Trump. Cruz beat Trump on Super Tuesday in Texas in 2016. Given the Bushes, Cornyn, GOP State Supreme Court justices, etc endorsing Talarico; I think the Texas Republicans wouldn't mind kicking the MAGA faction to the curb. They don't want the TX GOP to turn into AZ where they run cranks and goobers like Masters and Lake that lose very winnable races for the party because they appeal to Twitter more than residents of the state.
>>545286969> That's possible. If I were to put money on it, I'd put it on Talarico. However, my gut says that Paxton edges by on a razor thin margin.Same here, and I’m going with my guts. Also I’m not sure, how would have this campaign go with Cornyn as the GOP nominee? Did their primary leave them actually divided? Regardless, I feel like things have changed vastly since 2016, I think the TX GOP aligns with MAGA more than sufficiently by default to win this race.
>>545285614>It's a very plausible map>Ohio isn't blue.I didn't know Ohio had become part of India.
>>545288089>Did their primary leave them actually divided?Yes. It's genuinely not a meme. In spite of the hot memes about Jasmine Crockett having some grudge against Talarico, she endorsed him, and among likely voters who voted for Crockett in the primary, 95+ percent were for Talarico. Not only did Cornyn never endorse Paxton, but on the equivalent poll of likely voters, something like 80 percent were for Cornyn. And then you have the Bushes, State Supreme Court justices, and others coming out against Paxton (remember, you don't get impeached in TX without a bunch of Republicans wanting you to fuck off and go away). Paxton has basically always done worse than Abbot in his elections. It's genuinely that divided.>I feel like things have changed vastly since 2016I agree, but it's a matter of degree, and I think TX still aligns more with the HW-Romney era of Republicanism than the Trump platform. In 24, Trump didn't do as well in TX as Romney did in 2012. While this could be demographics, white educated suburbanites don't feel as tied to the GOP as they used to and Hispanics are voting more, I just don't think Trump's revanchist rhetoric appeals to a state that has seen decades of success as much as it does disaffected and downwardly mobile Midwesterners.
>>545288514>something like 80 percent were for CornynI meant "for Paxton". Some have it as low as 75%. This is also the prime demographic to swallow their disgust and vote straight ticket Republican.
>>545288377Is this ‘not blue Ohio’ here with us?
>>545284863>red texas
TOTAL
>>545288846MIGGER
>>545288898DEATH
>>545288514> And then you have the BushesI had no illusions about this, but still surprised me a bit that people actually give a shit about what they say in anything nowadays. Even in Texas. So yeah, it will definitely a nailbiter and I fear that Paxton will win the seat but hopefully with one of the closest races in TX history.I love that MAGA had to burn money for the campaign in Texas of all places. Talarico makes Paxton make a remarkable run for his money and he deserves every minute if it.How do you think MI goes? Rogers to me seems exactly like Paxton, a copy and paste Trump loving boomer, I feel like Abdul - regardless how obnoxious he feels very frequently - has a bit better chance to defeat him.
>>545284863BLOODBATH
>>545284863We got this! MAGA!!
>>545289270Delusional.Check ‘em
>>545289270>Nixon over MoodyI would genuinely wet myself laughing at that ngl
>>545289042>I had no illusions about this, but still surprised me a bit that people actually give a shit about what they say in anything nowadays. Even in Texas.Yeah, the Bushes are a big deal. I was in the state when HW died, and it was a big deal. Then when you look at Texas politics, there's a coaching tree if you will from them.George W Bush was TX governor. His Lt Governor, Rick Perry, would go on to become Governor of TX himself, one of the longest serving, and deliver more of the sustained success the state had seen since the 80s. It surprised me too, but Texans really do have a soft spot for the Bushes and Dubya's coaching tree is a quite large and influential faction in TX politics.>RogersI think he loses. He lost in 24 during a good year for Republican challengers; and nothing currently favors Rogers in comparison to that campaign other than maybe fearmongering about Muslims. That doesn't play as well as it did in even 2022 given the extent to which Israel is being blamed by the American public for the Iran War. I think AES underperforms the polls; left slopulism probably is not as popular in the ballot box as it is on Twitter.
>>545289333Checked. Dems rekt.
