The last weekend of October is known as Kek in Finland but they only celebrate it these days in Kajjaani.

THIS buck made from hay was pushed into Kajjaani river and set in fire by shooting a burning arrow at it.

Its a sacrifice to harvest gods now that harvest season is over.

1000 years ago Kek was most important celebration of the year, Christmas wasnt.

It coincides with Halloween now and surprisingly at Kek they remembered dead people and Halloween is probably similar.

Halloween is not official in Finland but Kek isnt either, hasnt been for centuries.
