Iran has been sinking shipping at the highest rate since the war began this month, and the houthi have been bombarding Saudi Arabia more heavily than ever before, with virtually no military response from the US at all because Trump is strategically constrained by the lack of interceptors, the risk to US forces he isn't willing to accept by engaging and the fallout from retaliation if he does. Of course they've taken tremendous damage, but in terms of what the war goals were at the outset, Iran is winning. Hands down. They fought Trump from demanding unconditional surrender to an unconditional cease fire, and shifted the war from fighting for their lives to a battle over the strait. These are facts.
He's going to get trounced in the midterms and he'll have a tanty and attack Iran again.
USA is so weak it's hilarious.
>>545249844Even in Iraq and Afghanistan, the wars began with an initial military success that then fell apart and bogged down. Here, Trump managed to fail even in the first round of fighting. Which is 100% his fault for how he initiated the war with no allies, in fact alienated all potential allies, failed to committ sufficient forces to achieve what he planned to do and the hubris and incredible ignorance in conflating Venezuela with Iran.
