What is the Christian view on effective altruism type of approach when reducing the sin? For example, if we assume porn makes males less agressive, "domesticates" them and therefore reduces sexual crime and general street crime among young/not so young men would it be reasonable to promote pornography as a way to alleviate worse sins? Or, knowing that you can't convert **all** people to Christianity, would it be better to barb priests in mosques, synagogues, new age spirituality spaces to promote a washed down version of their own ideologies that would discourage a set of Christian sins in order to reduce the annual amount of bad deeds? Would it be better to gaslight people new age type of way into believing they are all power and can easily give up whatever sin they commint regularly instead of explaining the Christian framework? Would it be better if priests would lie to each visitor in order to make Christian lifestyle appealing to that individual specifically?
