It hopes to permanently lock it down “due to adverse threat intelligence”, including “terroristic threats”, according to federal court records.>The service, which provides protection to high-ranking officials including the president and vice-president, warned earlier this year that threats against its protectees are up 40 per cent year-on-year.>“Today’s threat environment is heightened, real, and dynamic,” Matthew Quinn, the Secret Service’s deputy director, wrote in a court filing as part of its effort to permanently restrict air travel around Mar-a-Lago.>“The airborne threat vector at Mar-a-Lago is persistent and substantial. As the location of a primary residence of the President, from which he frequently conducts the business of the government’s highest office, that threat vector must be mitigated to the extent possible whether he is in residence or not,” he added.https://www.telegraph.co.uk/us/news/2026/10/30/donald-trump-maralago-mansion-surface-to-air-missiles/what is drumpf preparing for?
