I'm not convinced with the idea that the Jews control the world. See my flag? I was raised on such conspiracy theories. The idea is just too insane that in the complicated web of political, economical, and social alliances one ethnic group with what can only be described as hiveminded thinking control everything.Jews are certainly influential, but it's not that everything is under their control. In the west they represent a big segment of the financial and academic elites, but they still are minorities even when they form disproportionately big ones. On top of that they aren't a hivemind. The only thing they seem to agree on often is supporting Israel. Other than that some of them are religious ("the west is built on 'Judeo-Christian' values"), some are non-religious. Some are capitalist, plenty were communist (that was attractive for them because commies promised equality). Some are liberal, some are conservative. And so on.
