Ignoring memes about spaniards and arabs treating dragon ball like the Bible, France is the second most buyer of manga after japan since like the 80s, and had a second manga boom in the 2010s. Even one of our presidents (chirac)had a secret daughter in japan, he organized a sumotori match in Paris that impressed both french and hapanese alike, french because of the discipline of the nips, japs by the respect of jap tradition. That's why France and Japan were so infatuated with each other for decades. But now with popularity, moire and more french nafri and white trash go there and act foolish, and paris is a shithole so japon is starting to have french fatigue, not the other way around
