I bought one out of curiosity anyways.
Was $30, 50Wh, charged 20% in about 2.5hrs in partly cloudy condition. Honestly not bad at all, this thing could power all my electronics while bike touring. My phone has a 17Wh capacity for reference, so this set-up could charge it to full in like 4-5hrs.

For me it's the BigBlue SolarPowa P25.

I've got a bluetti with 100w solar and it is amazing. I wanna get another 100w panel and chain them up in parralel

What the product called and how much does it weigh? Is it easy to attach to a rucksack?
I've been considering one but the massive price ranges make me nervous about both overspending and buying something not fit for purpose. Surely some at the low end dont perform, but a lot at the high end of the price range must be overpriced as fuck right?
Not sure what parameters to look for and how to judge build quality.

That looks bulky as fuck. I'm guessing its for in a camper van or something?

they work well if you keep them in mind. like the position of the sun during the lunch break. put them out at every opportunity, like at dawn before breakfast to get those 30 min

im a fan and like the "infinite power aspect" but the break even point from one large power bank vs charger and powerbank is kida large but i like to read on my phone and listen to podcasts book so i need lots of power.

I've used 30w ones in long expeditions (10+ days) and they're a godsend, also they tend to charge slightly better at altitude due to more solar radiation.

That being said if you're doing a trip under 5 days just bring an extra Anker battery and you're good.

Also I charge battery bricks with them, I don't charge the phone bc of the varying charging voltage (I'm afraid it may fuck up my phone).

yeah the catch with the cheap banks is that the charge speed is slow. usually capped 2a no matter what cable or charger used so it takes over two hours to charge a 10k bank but it only costs 20 even in tax hell eu
