yeah, i hate going out with other people. They are invariably:
    >too chatty
    >complain about rain, mud, temperatures, whatever
    >stop every 3 minutes to take a picture.
going with pic related on the other hand is always great.

i always catch more fish when im alone. and i am weirded out by people who need music blaring 24/7. that being said it is nice of non-nature people to partake in your favourite hobby anon. it means they like you.

    >"Let's go camping"
    >It's at commercial campsite right next to a town or village, not at all remote
    >they drive there by car
    >The car is filled to the absolute top with shit you don't need
    >spotify blasting from a bluetooth speaker mixes with the frat boy party music from your next door neighbor's speaker
    >discussions are essentially workplace watercooler tier gossip, not a second of silence
    >drive by car from the campsite to a store to buy food, drive back and grill it
    >"It's so good to get out in nature sometime"
    >mfw

It's not the end of the world, it just has little to nothing to do with the way I'd spend my time if I could pick my ideal /out/ trip.
I've found that mentally reframing it as "hanging out with friends" helps me chill and accept it for what it is: Paying to pitch a tent on someone else's lawn. Can still be fun, though I'd enjoy it immensely more if people could live without having spotify play 24/7.
My favorite part of taking people hiking is how they slowly begin to accept silence. First day they can't stop talking, second it'll start to become a little inconsistent with occasional breaks, and by day 3 you reach that perfect mode where you walk alongside each other in silence because everything that needs to be said has been said. Nothing is being said and yet it's the closest form of communication you can have with someone.
