I drove a 911 Carrera S and a Corvette C8 Z06 back to back and aside from the exhaust note the driving experience was damn near identical. Small differences; 911 was more planted, Z06 was faster in a straight line but neither difference was all that significant. I think the C8 generation is going to go down as the greatest generation of corvettes, especially once the democrats sweep in 2026 and 2028 and the EPA makes it mandatory for us all to drive EVs or a 1.2L 4 cylinder. Actually they'll probably have us driving a fucking hit n' miss 1-banger hybrid econobox.
