You could own a mustang like pic related for the price of a new Honda civic.
    So why dont you.
    >all issues the car could have had were already fixed under warranty
    >Same fuel economy as a 3l v6
    >women love these cars and it will get you pussy
    >massive aftermarket mod opportunities
Why dont you become a pedestrians worst enemy?
    >>
    >>29137660
EUcuck taxes and I don't want to settle for the ecoboost
    >>
    >>29137660
It does not meet the EURO 7 standard.

My "thanks" go to Ursula von der Leyen and her left-wing cronies—on behalf of all Europeans.
    >>
    >>29137660
    >>women love these cars and it will get you pussy
Pussy is for teenagers, adults aim for offspring. The coyote also sounds like shit.
    >>
    >>29137670
how is that relevant? as long as it's euro 5 you can drive it anywhere

    TZD
    >>
    >>29137673
    >how is that relevant? as long as it's euro 5 you can drive it anywhere

I think you forgot about the existence of Clean Transport Zones.
    >>
    >>29137660
I mean look the yote is a step up from your dirty LS1, even though I kinda liked that ute, but let's not pretend you don't still get MOGGED by the superior Townace.
    >>
    >>29137674
No I dont, euro 4 gasoline is allowed even in the strictest of zones, the moostang is euro 6

And the strictest zones arent even in the EU cuz of brexit
    >>
    >>29137675
I honestly miss that ute too but it handled like fucking shit.
At least the mustang handles well and stops faster than any other car I have ever driven.
Most comparable car I have had was a 650bhp r32 skyline on ohlins but that had shit brakes so the bit less bhp kinda evens out on the touge.
Mustangs a surprisingly rigid car, with my suspension 3 wheels lift off the ground from the jack point behind the front wheel
    >>
    >>29137660
personally i want a car older than 2000, and one project/daily car is already enough for me. i hardly drive my backup car as it is and that is already bad for it
    >>
    >>29137660
Not a fan of the muscle car.
    I am saving for a CL500
    >>
    >>29137679
    all nucars are rigid
I hate nucars because they're all pigfat but I have to admit some of that weight did go towards making the unibody WAY more rigid than the floppy old 80s boxes I love
    >>
    >>29137690
Cl500 of the same year as a mustang gt is about the same price. Can't knock the choice cl500 is nice
    >>
    >>29137697
I did also put racing ohlins on my dd because the magnaride suspension made the car feel like a boat. Thats why it sits like a niggers car.
And the nigger rims are because I put 380mm brembo gt front brakes on.
    >>
    >>29137660
The newer mustangs are the Best daily drivers stangs ever.
But from a performance standpoint, they are lacking.
I've driven a lot of prepped mustanges and fuck are they heavy.
The only fast guys are running gutted 3,300lbs builds or below.

A lot of times, modified Fox bodies can keep up track with the new mustang platforms.
Being 1,200lbs lighter makes such a huge difference.
    >>
    >>29137706
People ar3 getting 3000hp out of the coyote engine, its basically a v8 version of the r35 engine

    >four doors for more whores
    >australian longevity and legacy
    >its not in a bumblebee paintjob that appeals to pajeets
    >fgx falcons will be worth more in 10 years anyway
    >is something special for Australian drivers
    >has more engine options than a mustang
    >has a more hardcore domestic aftermarket and userbase than a mustang

    >10 speed automatic
    >giant screens
    >vestigial back seats

    >expensive tires
I wanted to because it's the last American car but they really pushed me away.
    >>
    >>29137777
turbocharging is good (all rally and F1 cars use them) and spending money on tires is just part of owning a car, but I agree with the rest.
    >>
    >>29137719
Drag fags with custom engines costing $75,000 needed not apply.
    >>

They sound awful. I had one and I liked the rest of the car but the 5.0 is the VQ37 of V8s

    stock cast block (sleeved)
    stock crank
stock cast heads (ported and valvetrain upgrades obv)

With the right knowledge you could probably build a budget version which makes a large fraction of the power for a small fraction of the cost.

Not Op. Cross shopped it but all the stealerships in the tristate area wanted 55-60k for a manual nissan. Went with the mustang. I got 2 more cylinders and at 42k I had enough cash left over for wheels, tires, koni coilovers/springs and camber plates.
    >>
    >>29137900
Funny how the mustang GT fastback starts at $49,000. If you wanted a LARP as a retard, there's probably easier ways to do that

The S197-II was the last good Mustang to me. Today, those big ass screens, turbos, pig fat exterior with tiny asian eyes of headlights... basically all the modern trends they take put onto the mustang. I just can't.

    I had a 2023 GT with a 6 speed. It was great.

    >>29137843
Best exhaust in the world can be added and it will sound worse than a stock hemi 5.7.

Don't get me wrong, mustangs are nice and all, but the coyote sounds like a rasp metal grinder.

How rare are Mustangs outside of the US? You'll see a dozen S550s every time you leave the house here.
    >>
    >>29137660
    >why dont you own a mustang
    poor
    >>
    >>29138224

I'm in northern Europe and my S197 attracts attention like a supercar does in the US, entirely positive attention too.

I do see other muscle cars on the road sometimes, but it's maybe a couple times a month.
    >>
Because i bought a camaro instead but every time i see a good looking mustang I wonder if i made the right decision.
    >good looking
does not refer to yours though, as yellow cars are ugly
    >>
    >>29138224

If I have to drive for around an hour or so here in the UK I'll almost always see at least one S550, so not exactly a common car by any means, but certainly not rare enough to warrant any sort of excitement. Previous generations like S197s and SN95s are very rare, however, on account of them never being sold here, and that also makes them expensive as fuck as a result. The type of people that own American cars here are also a special kind of breed, which means that on top of being expensive, they've often been personalised in very questionable ways...
    >>
    >>29138469
it had a shitty transverse engine. nothing but cost cutting shitboxes has those. there's a reason they unfucked it when it went racing in super GT.
    >>

Oh, this was back in 2022. And I post here, my retard status is certified.
    >>
    >>29138198
Idk wtf you're listening to, but what you describe sounds like a v6 with straight pipes or bumpkins with rusted out exhaust leaking trucks.

The stock performance pack s550 gt exhaust sounds really really good. My only gripe if any is that it's maybe slightly too loud when the baffles are open, but the sound profile is crispy.
    >>
    >>29138224
Eastern europe, there'a like a dozen in my relatively small city, all v8s too
    >>
I like to be able to drive in a straight line for more than 5 seconds at 50mph
    >>
    >>29137988
As if it matters when most of those dudes driving clapped out civics could not even afford the down payment of a modern NSX
    >>
    >>29137660
It's the diet coke of enthusiast cars
    >>
    >>29139264
that would be the ecoboost. the mustang GT with a V8 and 6 speed manual is just coke.
    >>
    >>29139276
Nah, the v8 is like diet, the ecoboost is like coke zero (I can't believe it's not cuckoldry!). the auto start-stop on a V8 is like eating pussy with a dental dam.
