hey can we not use this thread as a blog or a chatroom, if you want to have a conversation about gear and not post pics of things (it is an IMAGEBOARD after all) go to the mattermost don't spam the thread with shit posts just to slide it. in other news I have working asset extractors for Ridge Racer V that automatically build Assetto Corsa cars using game-derived performance data. the skins are baked using a homemade PS2 EE/GS interpreter to correctly render, apply antialiasing to the decals, and generate a number plate. still needs a little coaxing into making PBR skins that use AC's car paint shader and the interior/windows come out weird due to differing alpha channel conventions between games but that's for later. Circuit geometry, gauges, sounds and music also export.

Aside from the fact that you can snap oversteer and spin it's a very faithful recreation.
