>>29125513yikes
>>29126347Based accord
>>29126531That would be a based as fuck car for like 6 grand with everything working, cause even with low miles for the year, a CM can hit you with some stupid shit like an oil leak from many places, a gunky idle valve, a gunky stuck open egr valve, knock sensor code, and potentially catalytic converter code like im getting for having run this engine for 20+ yearsIts a $1000 car if people would stop being clowns on social media and convincing themselves jap cars never break.
>best-wheel drive>320 hp>creature comforts>best manual transmission and steering feel in the WORLD right now>bulletproof engineBros, this is perfection
Been looking at getting a new daily recently and I'm finding the current crop of Hondas to be so uninteresting. I don't feel like they care at all about their small cars any more, nor do their family vehicles appeal to me, so I'll most likely be getting something else. At best, I might nab a CBR at some point. It's been fun though.
>>29127053Elantra N has better steering feel and a WAY more fun (and dangerous) chassis
>>29127207Pass on any small current Honda until they fix the head gasket issue.
>>29127208They sound like wet farts.
>>29127053hopefully the updated ctr will be better
Prelude wins again at Autopolis! This marks 4 victories in a row for the new car, 2 of which were done by the #100 Stanley Team Kunimutsu car
>>29127483*KunimitsuFuck, I always misspell that team name
>>29127483hell yeah (still not copping a hybrid tho)
>>29127483>2 of which were done by the #100
>>29127207>CBRUnless it is the 600or up the 500 and 300 are too much like the nakeds in suspension. Cb500f are really cheap all things considered and a pretty good deal. But I ride a rebel 300 to commute to work so what do I know.
>>29127483Ah yes, the 650hp tube-frame mid-engined Prelude you can buy a your local dealership.
>>29127745It'd probably be the 650 if anything, honestly. I really only like 4cyl bikes, but the supersports are a bit overkill for me.
>>29128175No one is claiming that GT500 silhouette cars share anything with the road going ones
>>29126347Head gasket status?
>>29128377I just want a ptwin cause I'm getting too old for the thumper rebel I have for commuting. I don't mind it on trips as long as I don't need to take the interstate. It is in better condition than my civic snd it is only 2 years newer.
Can someone sell me on why I should go with a Honda? My Ford Fusion is on it's last legs, but it's lasted me nearly another 100k miles since I bought it used at 100k. I hear Hondas are pretty reliable and affordable, but why should I get one, say an accord or civic, over another newer Fusion?
>>29128381Then why even bring up the victories.
>>29128465Because they're Hondas and this is the Honda thread? Were you dropped as a child more than once?
>>29128472He said Prelude not Honda, retard.
>>29128493Anon, who do you think builds the Prelude?
>>29128465everything about this interior is kino.except for being rhd
>>29128542Left hand drive hondas have no valueThe golden era cars are all gimped versions of the japanese trims and anything new is simply traffic no matter what market its for
>>29128577I must sit on the correct side for getting mcdonalds anon, doesn't matter if the compression sucks and the car cant rev
>>29128388kill
>>29128453Sadly, nowadays Honda's reliability depends on the exact model and year. If you get one without major design issues, they're still great vehicles. But some models/years have major redflags and should be avoided.
>>29129153This, it's shitty to think when someone gets the diag for their misfire on their beautiful Accord sport and it's a head gasket job, they realize they would've been better off getting a base 2.0L Civic on steel wheels that wouldn't be needing 5 grand in head gasket shit.
>>29129153Wasnt this always the case with all car brands. Im pretty sure we had early-mid 2000s accords with grenading transmissions and civics that had engine block cracks.
>>29128577I like the JDM D series shit, even if they're not even quick by Honda standards.
>come home from work>see my sad ass integra with fading clearcoat>walk up to it and notice ants crawling all over the car for some fucking reason, absolutely zero food in that car it's been driven maybe 50 miles since I bought it>guardian angel whispers in my ear to look at the tires for some reason & see pic relatedDay is fucking ruined, but having a blowout and wrecking would've ruined more than a day.
>>29129391Holy fuck that sidewall is gone, good thing you didn't whip it around.
>>29129392Yeah, last time I took it out was on the freeway too. I knew the tires had some dry rot but I think the recent temperature whiplash last weekend really nailed the coffin on them.
>>29129230I dunno, all I know is I used to be comfortable recommending Honda as a brand to anyone. Now it's a "better google the year/model before buying" thing. As a fanboy, that makes me sad. They still make the absolute most unkillable motorcycles, at least.
>>29127539how is it so tail happy
>>29130775Dunno, but he's on Youtube under the name Conorsev. Probably mentions it somewhere but idk for sure.
>>29130776I checked the vid and the mad lad yanks the handbrake all the time to keep the rear out but even when driving normally the car is less understeery than the average bmw
>>29130847Wishbone all aroundReturn to wishbone.
>>29130937Z/Q have wishbone. Sad the merger didn't happen.
>>29130937It's literally the one thing bringing good driving dynamics and driving enjoyment to cars, everybody cries about the death of manual transmission but not wishbones for some reason, a 6 speed manual doesn't mean shit if the car is an economy car suspension designed solely to save money.

>>29133168There really isnt anything to talk about.Recently Ive been trying to get my tyres replaced with all season ones. However Honda to their wisdom made the Type R rims in such a way that they have to be reverse mounted and require a longer "lever" to get it installed. I guess this combo is quite rare in Europe and my tyre shop had to order new parts to mount it. Except it has been 2 weeks and the component still isnt there yet.. I guess Ill just have to keep waiting.
>>29133526Why not go to Honda? Or get aftermarket wheels?
I miss my accord coupe, it was insanely good except for the auto transmission hiccups. If I find one in manual it would probably last forever
American car companies: too retarded to make things here and of good qualityMeanwhile Honda in bumfuck Ohio:https://streamable.com/8bdwyr
Probably should replace the front all-seasons on my FK7, there's a sidewall bubble on one that I've been ignoring for the past year or so
>>29133569Cuz my honda service shop only wanted to do winter and summer oem tyres at insane prices. If my current tyre shop can't do it then I'll go there. As for aftermarket tyres. I dont want to spend 1600 euros for a set of Enkei's TS-7's with a 2 month preorder time. Currently just dont want to spend that much money on the car, and I have nowhere to store my oem rims.
Goes hard
>>29135397Based slamvan
>>29133832>have nowhere to store my oem rims.in yer shed
>>29135425Filled with bicycles and tools, Im sorry bro but theyre not gonna fit.
>>29135654you can leave the bikes outside. whos going to steal them anyway? :^)
>>29133832Well good news, my shop backorderd the component. No eta on when it arrives but winter weather is closing in. At least at night it is now winter tyre temp.
>>29135654Balcony, that storage closet full of junk we all have in our house for some reason.
FL5 TCR looks pretty good
