A federal agent from Texas was allegedly shot after a family feared for their lives early Friday.

Fresno police said they received 911 calls about a single gunshot fired in the area of East Dudley and North Broadway Street, and also received a ShotSpotter activation of a one-round shot in the area.

When officers arrived, they found a man in handcuffs with a gunshot wound to his midsection.

The man was identified as 32-year-old David Gonzalez, an off-duty federal agent assigned to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, police said. Police detectives investigated the incident and said that a resident in the neighborhood arrived home to find Gonzalez sleeping on her front lawn.

She notified her 72-year-old father, who was inside.

The father went outside to tell Gonzalez to leave.

Police said that when Gonzalez woke up, he appeared intoxicated and agitated.

Gonzalez then allegedly assaulted the man, causing him several injuries as he was forced to the ground, according to police.

The daughter tried to intervene, but Gonzalez allegedly attacked her, causing her to fall to the ground, according to police.

The victim, in fear for the physical safety of himself and his daughter, produced a gun and fired one shot at Gonzalez, police said.

The daughter’s boyfriend, an off-duty police officer, arrived on the scene and placed Gonzalez in handcuffs.

Gonzalez was taken to a hospital for treatment.

    >Police said the victim who shot Gonzalez is not facing criminal charges, and was legally in possession of the firearm that was used.

Police said Gonzalez is in custody on felony assault charges. The victims’ injuries are still being evaluated.

    >Off-duty ICE agent found sleeping on family's lawn. Asked to leave by 72 year old man. Assaulted said man. Was deservedly shot, incapacitated, and restrained until he could be taken to a hospital. No charges filed against the shooter. Obviously drugged up ICE agent in custody on felony assault charges.
    >Gosh, so many terrorists working for the government.

Bush honestly wasn't that bad. No one will ever say he was a good president, But the majority of the issues in the US were caused by Clinton who was literally the 3rd worst president in modern history after Carter and Biden.
And just so you know, Bush is number 4 on my list.

Bush let 9/11 happen under his watch, started the forever war in Iraq for oil and crashed the economy.
He was a shit president through and through.
    >>
    >>1542714
    War in Iraq is over.
The reason Clinton is the worst president in modern history is because his policy was directly responsible for the economy crashing as noted by actual economists (fags on the Internet will disagree though).
But yes, he did allow 9/11. And probably thought the entire crazy idea was crazy talk.
Now, please shit the fuck up and stop making me defend Bush. It feels icky.
    >>
    >>1542727

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gramm%E2%80%93Leach%E2%80%93Bliley_Act
    >Respective versions of the Financial Services Act were introduced in the U.S. Senate by Phil Gramm (R–Texas) and in the U.S. House of Representatives by Jim Leach (R-Iowa). The third lawmaker associated with the bill was Rep. Thomas J. Bliley Jr. (R-Virginia), Chairman of the House Commerce Committee from 1995 to 2001.
    >During debate in the House of Representatives, Rep. John Dingell (D–Michigan) argued that the bill would result in banks becoming "too big to fail". Dingell further argued that this would necessarily result in a bailout by the Federal Government.[8] The House passed its version of the Financial Services Act of 1999 on July 1, 1999, by a bipartisan vote of 343–86 (Republicans 205–16; Democrats 138–69; Independent 0–1),[9][10][note 1] two months after the Senate had already passed its version of the bill on May 6 by a much narrower 54–44 vote along basically partisan lines (53 Republicans and 1 Democrat in favor; 44 Democrats opposed).[12][13][14][note 2]

If you were being consistent, wouldn't you hate republicans more for this? If you were being consistent.

Do you know what color the ICE agent's skin was? Do you know their last name? What makes the ones in uniform ICE agents that need to be protected with the death penalty, and the others subhuman?
You're a deeply unserious person and your selective racism is hilarious.
    >>1542979
One was an off-duty police officer. Fresno police don't hire illegal immigrants, they hire citizens, or lawful permanent residents that have applied for citizenship, so at the very least he is waiting on citizenship, and is probably a citizen.
I don't know if the girlfriend or the grandpa are citizens, but we have no reason to believe they aren't, and dating the police officer kinda implies they are.
