Throughout Elementary and Middle School I had a 24" mountain bike, don't know watever ended up happening to it
    >>
Supercycle hooligan. This big is the reason I fine blue and yellow to look cheap. That and brisk iced tea.

After the hooligan and a bunch of other walmart/canadian tire bikes, my first real bike was a Norco 125. I regret so much getting this instead of a Trek Sawyer. I wish I could find a sawyer in my size.

Step aside, plebians, I shall waddle/pedal in on my magnificent silvered steed!
Rode this one straight to kindergarden
Was more black/grey/silver though, it didn't have the blue/red I believe

Later some years dept. store BSO, broke apart @crash
Took BSO apart (contributor for interest @bikes+learning to fix/maintain)
Then dads unused 90s cheap steel trekking bike (poor frame workmanship visible, misaglignment @dropouts w/ seat-stays)
Chain replacement, clean, remove rust and restore, looks like new(this impressed the parents)
Convert to single speed;cheapo shifters worn, didn't have needed/enough tools to do wires/housings
Old shifter as tensioner, tried a rusting steel w/a pulley wheel but went back
    Tossed c*ntilevers for V-Brakes
*[GET 1st modern good quality+expensive hardtail MTB atp]*
Changed wheels and some components onto Peugeot Boston someone threw out (wheelset missing, probs converted to shekels) as geared bike
Made rear rack mounting to seat stay bridge robust w/ thicker metal piece & proper concave washers (scrounged together in my teenage brokeness and instilled nerotic hesitancy to spend money)
Replaced seatpost QR w/ sleek bolt-type
Installed matching stainless steel screws (scrounged together)
    handlebar steel--->alu
Eventually back to ghetto SS, shifting unfun to maintain @winters + flatness
tensioner w/ old shifter then even a piece of milled stainless milled (still have it)
Later decided to use diag. dropouts for chain tension position - n i c e
Rear rim wear - new wheel, tires, chain
    nexave brifters removed/filed/sanded for cleanness
Added V-brakes w/ better pad adjustablity (concave/convex washer type)
    Years pass
    "new" 44t cranks, w/ perma-attached chain-wheel (old cranks/chainwheel worn)
Alu handlebars flexy; installed nice quill type welded cro-mo stem+handlebar combo (same trash container the cranks were from)
Mingled w/ and collected my fellow trash here, having just failed university (and life) lole.
Smol battle to get the handlebar/quill combo out, had to improvise to bear down on that allen wrench
Finally filed cassette sprocket ---> proper 15t SS sprocket
