Do you walk? (USA)
No I ride my shart cart. (USA)
>>2082901I walk down the block and immediately feel my life closing in on me
>>2082901I walk along the avenue
why walk when you can ride?
>uh where are you going?>why are you leaving the house?>why aren't you at home with your wife and kids?
>>2082901naw bro Americans just teleport places
Walking, jogging and cycling are hobbies and we literally drive to dedicated trails to do those things. We drive as a form of transportation. The point of getting somewhere is getting there so you drive because it is faster. The point of walking to go for a walk to walk so you drive somewhere to go for a walk. The european cannot conceive this.

>>2082953>Weird how all your hobbies revolve around consuming gasolinethat's not at all what he said. is your only hobby making up scenarios in your head to be mad about and relentlessly seethe about them endlessly?
>>2082949Yes. I literally drove 30 miles Sunday to go ride 24 miles on a bike on a trail. >wHy dIdNt yOu RiDe At HoMe?Because the limestone trail out on the country side is more pleasant and I was already going to be 2/5s of the way there anyway going to my gym so my not take the bike? The european mide cannot conceive this.>why don't you just exist near you house and only travel a short distance to do things?>why do you want to travel 30 miles to do a single activity Because it takes half an hour tops. Americans measure distance in time. We value time.
>>2082967>drove 30 miles>measure distance in time>We value timeis time an euphemism for food in your head?
>>2082967>she only rides 24 miles at a timelaughing_girls.png.gif.avi
>>2082969>filenameMY FUCKING SIDES
>>2082901>Do you walk?of course I walk. my dog needs exercise>Do you walk to places?no. I drive or bike. walking to things is a huge waste of time, even “close” things are like a half hour round trip.
>>2082967you have horrible land use leading to horrible distances leading to horrible transportation and infrastructure costs, your population being obese and wasting countless hours in traffic. Yet you somehow spin this to a positive
>>2082989actually everything is great about this and Europe has much to learn from US, although their countryside is already quite similar.it's european overcrowded cities that are horrible, to say nothing about asian anthill purgatories.
>>2082989>and wasting countless hours in trafficalso, projecting much.
>>2082967I mean you just outted the fact you live in sterilised suburban hell by admitting you have drive 30 miles to get somewhere 'pleasant' meanwhile you can ride half that far from the dead center of most European cities and you're here
>Designated foreigner seethe thread?Designated foreigner seethe thread.
>>2082999>calm suburban heavenftfy>meanwhile you can ride half that far from the dead center of most European citiesand it'll only take two hours
>>2082901Walking is for N I G G E R SIGGERS
>>2083010but americans don't walk they drive because they value their time o algo
>>2082999>posts small town I live in a small town. The nearest bike trail is 20 min drive away. I'm not going to ride on the street or roads lmao. I want to ride innawoods for shade and to block the sustained 13 mph wind with 20+ gusts. Nigga I live in the burgerstan great fucking plains.
>>2082989And you have horrible personal space and deodorant use.

>>2083035we're trying but the lone moderator here is a brown mexican that allows threads like this to exist
>>2083036walking is the most common method of transport even in the US. You walk to your car and you walk from the parking lot to the business etc.
>>2083037Naw
>>2082994>ChinaWhat causes this? Rigid city planning? Rapid urbanization?
>>2083420endless hellish 10 floors below ground level bughouse construction and cramming literal millions of them into matchbox-sized compartments within.
>>2082901Yes, all the time. I picked a walkable edge city. I can walk to a small market downtown in five minutes. I can walk to a big box grocery store in thirty minutes. I can walk to a two large parks and a dozenish neighborhood park, all withing ten minutes. If I'm ambitious, I can even bike the greenway thirty miles to the metro center where the central business district is located, but I never do as I rarely have reason to go there.I am able to do this because I chose my location wisely. I didn't look for the prettiest yards, the cheapest square footage, or easiest freeway access. I looked for a place that's walkable and bought there. Our houses aren't huge: the city limits us to 2.5 stories, 40% lot coverage on 150x50 lots. ADUs are not allowed. This keeps enough density to support parks, businesses, and infrastructure without overloading it.Choices have consequences and too many people who whine about where they live being too car centric didn't bother putting in the work to find the place they claim to want to be or they valued something else more, like large lots and more square footage. People lie like crazy about the choices they make to get them to where they are now. Too many in the US think they can have it all by choosing one set of things they want and then whine like babies for the magical government to wave a wand to make the other things suddenly appear out of nowhere.

>>2082901Not even at the airport would I walk (USA)
>>2082994>read a bookor>stare at tail lightshm
People here wont even walk from the parking lot to the store if its too far and will sit and wait for a car to back out to park closer or drop off their wife at the store front and the go park the car. You have no idea how little Americans walk. We dont walk because nothing is designed to be walkable. Nothing is designed to be walkable because we dont walk.
>>2083658>We dont walk because nothing is designed to be walkable. Nothing is designed to be walkable because we dont walk.Hows it feel being retarded
>>2083660I dont want to park far away at the grocery store because I dont want to walk across the parking lot. Its too far>if you city walkable you wouldn't have to drive to a grocery storeWhy would anyone walk to grocery store>you COULD walk to a grocery store but cant becuae your city isnt walkable I dont want to walk>you COULD walk but you CAN'T because your city isnt walkable I don't want to walk anywhere to do things unless the thing is to go for a walk and then I'll just drive to the walking trail>you wouldn't have to drive to walking trail if your city was walkable
>>2082901Not where I live, no. I walk around my neighborhood and workplace throughout the week just to keep my legs from atrophying, but I don't commute anywhere on foot. Most of my town doesn't have sidewalks. If I walk for forty minutes thorough bits of parking lots and along curbs, I can make it to a grocery store. Within twenty minutes on foot, I can reach a couple gas stations and a drugstore, but that's it.
>>2082906I never thought I'd meet a girl like you.Meet a girl like you.
>>2083658i always park far away but it doesn't help that parking lots are fucking horrible places to be in when you're not in a carhave you ever tried walking to a strip mall or walmart with one of those fuck huge parking lots attached to the front?it's a shit design that is completely hostile to people who are not in cars, including those who just parked their car and now have to walk through the parking lot to reach the storei will never understand why our country decided this was how we were going to live
>>2082948she can fix me
From what I've seen on TV with this weirdly oversized houses, stores and parking lots I wouldn't be suprised if they actually walk more getting their groceries by car than I do getting them by foot only.
