Tell the incel in the back that reclining is the exclusive right of the passenger in front of you, universally. if he doesn't like it, he can feel free to jump in front of a train and kill himself.
Earlier trains -- pre N700 -- had tables recessed into seat backs. If someone did a sudden recline and there was a laptop on the table behind then the recess could catch the top of the screen and... toast. The N700 and later have (mostly) flat seat backs (and (as can be seen in OP pic) the table latch is in a beveled recess) so that sudden reclines should push laptop screens out of the way without destructively trapping them in the table recess. Evolution x intelligent design. Side effects small but still turdy behaviour.
