She IS the rejection of celestia, the doing of cartoon violence, and the relationship of the main character. We're very primed to like her.For others, they just like her. The MLP fandom has always had a taste for bloodshed and creepypasta stuff, and cute mares. She's a mare, she's cute, she's got crazy eyes, and she was soaked in blood. As a group, that's what we like, and that's what she showed at a glance. Also, every year there's less pony to go around.

What makes a movie different from a regular long episode?

The movie has the plot of a movie, served up with a very familiar structure with a consistntly rising tension. It also has to introduce all the characters and concepts very quickly, from scratch. It's a little short for a movie, but didn't feel that way and it's a little long for an episode.Arson could have been a movie, but wasn't. It certainly ends in a way that is chaotic, action-packed and significant enough. It starts in the middle of already started narratives, expands on those ideas slowly, and meanders a bit rather than constantly focusing on progression. That's not that big a deal, but considering that both it and barconic are ~38 minute videos and bardonic is only barely and not technically a movie, those changes make the difference.The death of twilight sparkle is an hour long, and the first hour long one. It makes multiple allusions to its own nature as a movie within the episode. Soarin and braeburn is also an hour long with a disproportinate focus on action and some important progress for the characters as a treat. Also, it calls itself a movie, and that basically means it is a movie no matter what else happens. That's not quite true, but some real extreme justification would be required to say that an episode titled "THE MOVIE" was not a movie. Hearthswarming in manehatten is a movie because it says it is, but also because of the tradition of shitty christmas movies. The standards are simply lower when you stuff a halmark ass plot in your movie. This also means that it's a different "kind" of movie, but I think we all understand that a movie you would go see in a theater is different from a direct-to-vhs cartoon movie. They are both called movies. They are different things. And that ought to clarify where the line generally is.

Personally I like Fractured. The one weakness Flawless has is that she generally wants to do the right thing, especially when it comes to her family. Fractured acting as a foil who tries to tempt her away from that is interesting. Even if she almost always fails, and has already become a part of the family, it's still a cute dynamic to have twins where one is a bit more naughty and tries to get the other one in trouble.I agree she hasn't "done much" other than be cute and interact with her family recently, but I don't see what's wrong with that, she adds a nice spice to the vibe of the family SoL episodes. It's not like every character needs to be a plot device, she can just be there as a likeable character. I finally got another decent album sync with a tamers episode. It's not quite as strong as Dark Side of the Lulamoon, but Abbey Road over Big Mac Goes to College was pretty good. I had never actually heard Maxwell's Silver Hammer before, and I was actually pretty shocked at how weirdly fitting it was. It felt like a twisted kind of foreshadowing of the entire episode. Here Comes the Sun also had pretty good timing.Earlier, I tried doing Gorillaz's Demon Days with Outbreak, and it wasn't doing much for me except for when celestia goes to take a shit there's a really loud yell/moan on the track and it made me laugh my ass off. I didn't watch the whole thing for that one so if anyone else tries it let me know if something funny happens

Fractured being technically a reforming bully. And yet she still feels casted aside just like he does but in a different way. Hope we get to see more Fractured seeking her own individuality. I see potential there. Belle's worldview is so twisted from reality he kinda goes on living in his own world most of the time until it hits him in the ass (Like a Spike but less delusional). Fractured's world revolves around Flawless. All she's ever done is trying to persuade her to her side. And failing every single time. She ignores society because she perceives herself as a monster. It seems like a situation he could try to help and Fractured does need a friend after all.Maybe not romantic but I think they could have fun dynamics and learn a bit from each other. That or Fractured just bullies the shit out of him to bring his ass to reality. Whatever happens first.
