In that that she's actually rather booksmart, but doesn't really express it much out of social tact?

Also, what would her talent even be? My guess/idea is she's a super-taster and thus is really damn good at making food recipes.

unlike what you may think Silverspoon isn't like, a bland DT accessory or a personality-void blank flank. She's a distinct, yet underused character with built-in hooks for personality, conflict, growth, and that's fueling artists and writers' creativity.

    On her personality and originality
Silver Spoon is the classic generic rich class bullying others trope. She has her own flavor:
Snobby, status-conscious, yet less driven by pure malice or mommy issues than DT. She's the loyal sidekick who still shows flickers of independence and discomfort. She's loyal but not blind. They reconcile by the end, but the episode explicitly gives her agency and a spine. She's not locked into perpetual toady mode.
Design is distinctive, akin to another beauty, Sonata. muted gray coat, silver braids, glasses. Fans and headcanons frequently expand this into tea-party hostess, upper class all levels.

She's not a deep, multi-arc character like the Mane 6 or even DT post-redemption which was a mistake, we all love a good bully. Diamond Tiara is our Cartman. That's the point of minor antagonists/supporting fillies. What she does have is a clear archetype

Limited screen time is not the same as zero personality. The show gave her enough consistent beats and one clear independence moment to establish her as more than a prop. Fans does the rest and this is where the "allows a lot of creativity for anons" part becomes undeniable.
Stats are high for such a background character, it's not even fitting the fillycon fans keeping her up, by all stats it shows a prominence of safe or suggestive.

The blank-flank/"no personality" myth collapses here. Characters with truly zero hooks don't generate hundreds of fics or ongoing art. SilverSpoon has the base and leaves room for our imagination. Anons expand her because the foundation is there: the loyalty/conflict aspect, glasses-nerdy-rich-girl aesthetic, the implied growth, and the under-exploration and mysteries about her family and more. You can write her as pure snob, reluctant follower, secret softie, social climber, tea-party queen, or post-show reformed adult without contradicting the show. That's fertile ground.
She's not a hard favorite for everyone, and she doesn't need to be. She's a solid minor character with personality, more confident than it seems, nerdy, it's a clear niche, and I think this is what fans love about her.
On the character design, she's more coded in the vibe of japanese anime than western animation. She's a character Anons love for her look, style,
    >>43531034
She's a nerd, a real nerd, smart, rich and it's good. I'd rather see her owning a café chic, but she's this kind of character a lot of anons can identify too or want to protect. She's a smart sidekick who will decipher a code to let you escape, operating in shadows, above all doubt. Tust her, don't betray or abuse her friendship and she'll never gonna let you down in the worst moments.
She don't need Diamond Tiara,Diamond Tiara needs her.

    >"Yes, games. I will show you a computer isn't always about boring math and programming. You can also play games; ... just one minute I need to initialize the computer."

    >she reaches over and flips a switch on a smaller terminal-keyboard combo sitting next to the big CRT
    >green phosphor text flickers to life
    >I've read about terminals but never seen one IRL
    >she types with deliberate, precise hoofstrokes
    >"LOAD AUTORUN P10;0000" or something, she types so fast I can't follow

ACCESS GRANTED - NODE 3 ACTIVE
    AWAITING OPERATOR INPUT
    >no menus
    >no title screen
    >no cute little pony avatars
    >just a blinking cursor and a status line that reads:

    CURRENT THREAD: THE SILVER KEY
    STATUS: UNRESOLVED
    OPERATORS ONLINE: 3

    >"Soo... This is an online game."
    >Silver Spoon glances at me over her glasses
    >"Most ponies think these machines are just for calculating crop yields or printing tax forms.
    >The ones who actually own them… we use them for something else. Deciphering things, playing silly things, exchanging information, this one got me hooked."

    >she types a command that looks like pure gibberish to me

    >But not the kind you play for fun.
    >The kind you play because the alternative is that the wrong ponies find the rest of the fragments first."

    >new text appears

    INCOMING TRANSMISSION — OPERATOR "TWILIGHT.SPARKLE"
MESSAGE: "Node 4 is compromised. Do not trust the archive. The Key is not what we thought."

    >Silver Spoon's ears flatten for half a second

ACK. PROCEEDING TO PHYSICAL SITE. BRINGING LOCAL OPERATOR.

    >she finally looks at me
    >the glow of the CRT reflecting in her glasses like two green moons
    >"Congratulations, Anon.

    >I heard the stories.
    >You finished that ridiculous cartridge game in one sitting last summer when the rest of us were still stuck on the second dungeon.

    >I stare at the screen a second longer
    >then point at the middle one
    >"Skip the obvious path.
    >If Node 7 needs another physical key, it's probably a trap or a time sink.
    >Root Archive is the real objective.

    >she raises an eyebrow but types exactly what I tell her

QUERY ROOT ARCHIVE — ACCESS REQUIREMENTS

    >the machine hesitates
    >tape drives slow
    >then a new block of text crawls across the CRT

    ROOT ARCHIVE ACCESS REQUIRES:
    1. CONFIRMATION OF OPERATOR IDENTITY VIA TEMPORAL SIGNATURE
    2. RESOLUTION OF THE THREE FALSE PATHS
    3. PHYSICAL PRESENCE AT COORDINATES [REDACTED]

WARNING: PREVIOUS OPERATORS WHO ATTEMPTED DIRECT ACCESS WERE… DISCONTINUED

    >Silver Spoon's ears flick
    >"Temporal signature.
    >That means it wants proof we exist in the right time.
    >Not just a password."

    >I grab her pencil
    >start sketching on the margin of the graph paper
    >three little boxes
    >label them PATH A / PATH B / PATH C
    >"The three false paths.
    >They're probably the greyed-out nodes that look tempting.
    >If we try them in the wrong order the whole thread collapses.
    >Classic misdirection design.
    >So we need to find which three are the lies without walking into them."
    >>
    >>43557575

    >she nods slowly
    >then types a command I wouldn't have thought of

    >dozens of truncated session logs
    >most of them ending the same way

    …OPERATOR LOST CONTACT
    …SIGNAL TERMINATED
    …FRAGMENT CORRUPTED

    >one log near the bottom is different
    >it stops mid-sentence on a single word

    CLOCKWORK

    >I tap the screen with a hoof
    >"There.
    >That operator got further than the others.
    >They were looking at the same mechanical heart schematic we printed earlier.
    >The false paths are probably three wrong interpretations of that heart."

    >Silver Spoon's eyes light up behind the glasses
    >she unrolls the continuous-feed printout again
    >spreads it across the floor
    >we both get down on our bellies like a couple of conspirators
    >pencil marks start covering the paper
    >she marks possible gear ratios
    >I mark the ones that would lock the mechanism instead of opening it

    >after twenty minutes of quiet argument and erased lines
    >we have three circled sections
    >three ways the Clockwork Heart could be "solved" that all lead to a dead end

    >she types them in one by one

MARK FALSE PATH 1 — GEAR RATIO 3:1 LOCK
    MARK FALSE PATH 2 — COUNTER-ROTATION SEQUENCE
MARK FALSE PATH 3 — EXTERNAL POWER BYPASS

    >the machine accepts each entry with a soft beep
    >then the map on the CRT updates
    >the three false nodes dim completely
    >a new line of text appears under the Root Archive

ACCESS CONDITION 2 OF 3 SATISFIED
    TEMPORAL SIGNATURE STILL REQUIRED
    PHYSICAL COORDINATES UNLOCKED

    >a set of numbers prints out on the terminal
    >longitude and latitude that don't match any place I know in Equestria
    >Silver Spoon copies them onto a fresh sheet of paper with almost reverent care

    >she looks at me
    >really looks at me this time
    >"You just saved us three days of walking into traps.
    >Maybe more."

    >I shrug like it's nothing
    >but my heart is hammering
    >"So what's the temporal signature?"

    >she stands up
    >walks to one of the big cabinets
    >opens a drawer I hadn't noticed
    >pulls out a small mechanical stopwatch the size of a bottle cap
    >brass and glass
    >still ticking

    >"This.
    >It was running when the first fragment was found.
    >Same second.
    >Same tick.
    >If we present it at the Root Archive coordinates while it's still synchronized…
    >the machine will believe we belong to this thread."

    >she places the stopwatch on the keyboard
    >the CRT flickers once
    >as if the whole room just inhaled

    >Silver Spoon's voice is quiet
    >"Anon.

Considering "clockwork" was the key word, and the "solution" is a clockwork pattern, and the last key needs a physical location, I feel the next terminal must be inside Ponyville's Clock Tower.
Unless there's another place with clocks I may be forgetting.

    >Silver Spoon was not a rich filly.
    >She never had been.
    >Single child of a single mother.
    >Every morning she carefully brushed the dust from her gray coat, straightened the little silver spoon charm that hung from her neck, and practiced the same bright, practiced smile she wore at school.
    > The other fillies still believed the old story: that her parents were important businessponies who traveled constantly, that the modest house at the edge of town was only a temporary arrangement while something grander was being prepared. Silver never corrected them.
    >She had learned, very young, that a carefully maintained mystery was safer than the truth.

    >This was her third year at the free public school
    >Most of the other students from wealthier families had long since transferred to private ones. Silver stayed.
    >Tuition was free, the lunch or breakfast were free, and no one asked too many questions as long as she kept her grades high and her secrets higher.
    >That afternoon the door of the little house stood open when she came home.
    >Her mother sat at the kitchen table, head bowed, eyes red and swollen.
    >The factory where she had worked for years, the Flim&Flam Brothers’ temporary production plant on the outskirts of town had filed for bankruptcy that morning.
    >Everypony had been laid off without notice and without severance.
    >There was almost nothing left in the cupboards.
    >Silver set her schoolbag down carefully.
    >“Look, Mom,” she said, voice small but steady. “As soon as I’m older I can find work and help pay the bills too.”
    >Her mother shook her head at once, wiping her eyes with the back of one hoof. “Don’t be silly, Spoonie. I’ll do what I can. You already work hard enough just staying in school, keep studying, learning computer code, get your own magic. I believe in you.”

    >Silver glanced toward the empty window box where nothing ever grew.
    >“But look at Apple Bloom and Applejack. They already work together.”

    >Her mother gave a tired, almost bitter little laugh. “Wish we had anything growing here.”

    >The silence that followed was heavy.

    >Days later Silver stood in the same kitchen and told a careful lie.

    >“I’ve been invited to Diamond Tiara’s house again after school. Don’t wait up for me.”

    >Her mother only nodded, already distracted by another stack of unpaid notices.
    >Silver kissed her on the cheek, stepped outside, and walked in the opposite direction of Diamond Tiara’s mansion.
    >She did not head toward any friend’s house.
She walked toward the train that would take her to the big city.
    >She needed money.
    >And she was done waiting to be old enough.
    >>
    >>43564043
    >She's got info about some creepy places in the suburbs of Fillydelphia where some stallions and older colt can easily get their hooves on very young mares for money

    >So she's trotting in the streets, alone, looking at mares twice her size looking down on her in a mocking tone
    >“Hey are you lost lil' one?”
    >Her sophisticated filly look felt out of place in this dark and grim area dominated mostly by all kind of degeneracy.
    >She's staying in a street behind a bar for a moment, looking at young mares following customers.
    >There's a teenage colt and an older, obese stallion fucking in a public place, on a ruined mattress stained with piss and bodily fluids.
    >He notices Silver, grins at her as he's giving his customer what he wants.
    >Silver can't not watch, feeling both disgusted and fascinated by the primitive, bestial act.
    >Moments are passing, and one stallion eventually meets her.
    >“Hey.”
    >She's looking up. “You alone?” he asked.
    >She's nodding, ignoring the moans of the gay stallion getting fucked in the street.
    >“Think you'd be safer in my room okay?”
    >She immediately asked “Are you gonna pay me for that?”
    >He's looking down at her, and nods. “Of course” he replied.
    >So Silver's following him, a handsome, rich-looking stallion, looking confident, passing across other mares winking at every stallion.

    >They're entering an old hotel with a dusty staircase smelling like cigarette. The corridors echoes moanings and screams of pleasures.
    >“please get in” he said as he gets inside.
    >Silver's just rushing on the bed, her heart is racing, not knowing what's going to happen to her. She's just waiting to get paid and get home.
    >“No, wait, I want you to get on me and show me what you can do. I'm taking your place. Try and tease me.”
    >“What do you mean” she asked.
    >“Get on me, rub your cunny on me, play with my cock.

    >Be Silver Lining, single mother
    >Your daughter is Silver Spoon
    >Yes, you know what her name implies, that's the point. You named her that yourself.
    >when Spoonie was born, you didn't have much actually. "Not much" is being generous. You were broke.
    >You didn't want your daughter growing up knowing that. So you made a promise.
    >Your daughter would have everything you never did.
    >Nice clothes, nice toys, nice birthday parties.
    >Anything you could possibly scrape together enough money for.
    >And eventually Spoonie started believing it, that her family was wealthy. That she was born into privilege and thatshe was better than the other foals.
    >You should have corrected her....
    >You know that now...
    >But every time she came home excited about something she had and bragged about how rich her family was.
    >You just smiled.
    >Because she was happy.
    >You probably went too far.
    >Spoonie started looking down on other foals. She'd make friends, then insult them and then lose them.
    >You'd watch her come home pretending she didn't care.
"They weren't worth being friends with anyway."
    >You knew she was hurting, then one day she came home from school smiling.
    >Really smiling
    >Apparently there was a new filly in Cheerilee's class. Her name was Diamond Tiara and for the first time
Spoonie had found someone who actually seemed to like her.
    >One month later.
    >They're still friends.
    >This is the first friendship that's actually lasted.
    >You're overjoyed.
    >You're terrified.
    >Because Diamond Tiara isn't like Spoonie's other friends.
    >Diamond Tiara actually comes from a wealthy family and she likes expensive things. REALLY expensive things.
    >The first time Diamond invited Spoonie somewhere expensive, you somehow found the money.
    >The second time, you somehow found the money.
    >The third time, you have absolutely no idea where the money came from.
    >You owe money to three different ponies now.
    >You've started doing mental arithmetic whenever Spoonie comes home excited.
    "Mom! Diamond invited me to-"
    >You immediately start calculating
    >As long as she's happy. That's what you keep telling yourself.
    >As long as she's happy, you'll endure.
    >The problem is that Diamond keeps inviting her to things and those things keep getting more expensive.
    >You can survive the occasional nice dress and the expensive birthday present.
    >You can survive pretending the family can afford something you absolutely cannot afford.
    >But this is different. This is Spoonie's first real friend. The first friend who might actually stick around. You can't take that away from her.
    >So you keep smiling.
    >You keep telling Spoonie that of course she can go.
    >You keep finding money that doesn't exist.
    >You keep the bills hidden.
    >You keep the bank statements out of sight.
    >You keep pretending everything is fine.
    >Because Spoonie is happy and that's all you've ever wanted.

    >she's looking down at the stallion, disgusted by herself, forcing herself to smile, trying her best being sexy.
    >She still does what he wants, then get on his laps, in some awkward position, rubbing her bits against his mature, erect horsecock.
    >She knows that would not fit, she's riding it between her legs, keeps on rubbing, thrusting. Tries to avoid playing with his nuts due to a huge scar on his scrotum.
    >He's moaning, she knows and the more she goes she is aware he's taking pleasure to it despite taking her glasses off made her completely blind.
    >He's getting off, while she's still trying to find pleasure in what she's doing.
    >Thinking about all the things she's got, her lifestyle, about her mother doing her best, DT, her friends, even Scootaloo.
    >"Rich fillies don't get sympathy. They get envy and no real friends. What does it means being rich anyway, if it's all about facade and bling. Look at Applejack is like, three times richer than Filthy, Rarity, twice. I pretend I hate style and go with a simple matching style"... she's thinking about all that in her head while being used like a sextoy by some anonymous stallion
    >She's working her best with him who's already done. "It's alright. Please move on we both need a shower." he said as he caressed her.
    >"How did it go, are you satisfied? That was my first time, but I can improve, I'll take your feedback very seriously!" she said as she puts her glasses back on. >He's wiping his flaccid penis with the blankets and some of his semen on her hip while looking at her. "second time. I like the hesitation and the lack of experience, you're the second filly and probably the youngest ... I.... "
    >his face is decomposed and he's starting to shake
    >She's looking at him, she's never seen something so sad and pathetic, as he was wiping and crossing his legs, she saw a young unicorn getting abused, sexually. No longer a stallion.
    >"I'm sorry, we have to go."
    >She's coming to him "It's okay I'm not gonna hurt you."
    >A feel of guilt and fear made him paralyzed and unable to move again. "It's not okay, I'm a monster, I'm filth..."
    >Silver knows something is seriously wrong with him. He's trying to avoid looking at her.
    >"A monster would have forced me, I've seen monsters. You're not one..."
    >he's sobbing he's sorry, sitting there in the corner of a bedroom, mattress and drapes covered with blood.
    >Silver's carrying him close, being the one protective from someone in the shadow levitating some whip. She's looking at what seems to be a female unicorn, and shouts at her "Look at what you've done. You're not a mother. You're a monster. I'm taking him with me and you won't stop me. You'll never find him again."
    >She's the one appearing older, then he opens his eyes again, stops crying, looking around.
    >Silvers's just saying three words. "You are safe."
    >He's smiling for the first time. "Yes, now I am." hugging her close.
    >moments later he's counting "250. 500. 750" til two thousand bits...

    >Diamond is still friends with your Spoonie.
    >She is just beaming with joy
    >You're also beaming with joy. On the outside at least. On the inside, you're mortified.
    >You keep spending money you don't have.
    >The thought of Spoonie losing this friend keeps creeping into your mind.
    >Because secretly, you wished this would happen but you feel terrible for hoping for it.
    >You thought you had time to dwell on this.
    >You didn't.
    >Because something worse popped up.
    >You thought you could avoid it by claiming to be too busy or that you wouldn't run into them.
    >Actual wealthy ponies don't usually hang out in the same places as normal ponies, right?
    >But it finally happened
    >There you were deep in thought trying to figure out this month's groceries.
    "Silver? Silver Lining?"
    >Initially you don't hear your name being called not until you feel a tap on your back.
    >That snaps you out of your thoughts and you quickly turn your head.
"See? I told you it was her."
    >The brown pony says it to the pink pony standing next to him
    >"Uhm... hello?"
"Don't be shy now! It's so good to finally meet you!"
    >The brown pony exclaims
    >"I'm quite sorry, I don't mean to be rude, but do I know you two?" you nervously chuckle.
"Well, I don't see how you would. Your daughter says you're always busy with work."
    >The brown pony chuckles
"I'm Filthy Rich, and this is my lovely wife, Spoiled Rich."
    >Rich... why doesn't that name sound familiar? You think to yourself.
    >Filthy continues.
"I'm so glad Silver Spoon and my sweet daughter Diamond have become such good friends. I was worried she'd have the same troubles she had in Canterlot with not being able to keep a friend..."
    >The rest of Filthy's conversation becomes muffled to your ears.
    >You feel a pit form in your stomach the instant you realize who these two are.
    >Suddenly, a flurry of questions floods your mind.
    >"Why are they in a place like this?"
    >"Don't wealthy ponies go to fancier stores?"
    >"Why Rich's Barnyard Bargains of all places?"
    >"wait..."
    >"Rich's...
    >"This is his store!?"

It's really a matter of stylistic preference. The artist, Darkdoomer draws everything from genuine god-tier work to low-effort, cringe MS Paint stuff. Minimalist, complex, show accurate, personal style...
I personally don't care for him because of his risque political shitposting, but his traditional charcoal and pencil pieces he brought at MareFair make me feel very small as an artist.

    >"So this is your store, right?"
"What gave it away?" Filthy chuckles.
"Well, it was originally my father's, but he passed it down to me once he retired."
"Speaking of work." Filthy looks back at you.
"What is it that you do? I sometimes overhear your daughter talking to Diamond about you, but I never quite heard what it is you do."
    >Crap.
    >You knew this question would eventually pop up.
    >But you've rehearsed this just in case.
    >You got this.
    >"I work in real estate."
    "How's business?" Filthy asks
    >Before you can answer.
    >Spoiled chimes in.
"She must be doing well for herself with the way Silver Spoon talks."
    >"Well, recently it's been a little slow."
    >A LITTLE slow?
    >You haven't made a sale in months.
"Well, all businesses have their slow months. I'm sure it'll pick back up soon." Filthy chimes in.
"Honestly, I'm quite surprised you weren't the pony that helped close the deal on our home in Ponyville."
    >"Well, can't be everywhere at once." You nervously chuckle.
    >You know exactly why that was the case.
    >Ever since that big home sale fell through.
    >Your reputation tanked.

    >Before you can continue the conversation.
    "Where's your jewelry?"
    >"M-my jewelry?" You respond.
"Yes, your jewelry. A successful pony such as yourself should have jewelry letting ponies know your status." Spoiled says in a snobbish tone.
    >"Well, I prefer to be modest, so I don't wear it often."
"Oh, you're one of those quiet wealth ponies, aren't you?" Filthy interjects.
    >Thank Celestia.
    >Filthy unknowingly just gave you an out.
"We've met a few ponies like that when we lived in Canterlot. Don't you remember, dear?"
    >Spoiled rolls her eyes.
"Oh yes, THOSE types. I will never understand the point of ponies being wealthy and not letting others know your status."
    >Filthy clears his throat.
"Don't be so brash, dear. If she prefers to keep her wealth hidden, that's her business."
    >Spoiled lets out a sigh.
"Well, at least your daughter understands the reason for being wealthy, with her pearl necklace and designer glasses. So I suppose you're at least raising her right."
    >This remark leaves you aghast.
    >She's got some nerve.
    >Apparently you're not acting wealthy enough for her standards.
    >But at least Spoonie is apparently doing a good job of acting like she is.
    >>
    >>43568700
    >Before you can get a word in.
    >Spoiled keeps talking.
"So no jewelry and you do your own grocery shopping?" as she gestures her hoof toward your shopping cart.
"You should at least have the help do your grocery shopping. A pony of your success has much more important things worth your time."
    >"W-well, I've had issues recently with ponies getting the wrong things while grocery shopping. So now it's something I do myself." You stammer out.
    >Celestia please buy this excuse.
    >Please stop asking questions.
"I know what you mean. Ever since Filthy decided to move us back to Ponyville, it's been hard to find good help. Canterlot had such an abundance of good help."
    >Thank Celestia.
    >She bought that excuse.
    >Before Spoiled has a chance to ask another question.
    >You try to flip it back on her.
    >"You know, I'm surprised to see you here as well. Shopping for your own groceries?" You say with a slight smirk.
"Oh heavens no, we're here strictly on business." Spoiled quickly retorts.
    >The smirk immediately disappears from your face.
"We're just doing our weekly check-in on the store." Filthy adds.
    >Of course.
    >You just happen to be here on the same day they do their weekly check.
"Filthy insists we do this every week." Spoiled says annoyingly.
"You don't have to come every week, dear." Filthy retorts.
"If I didn't come, you'd spend all day talking to ponies. Somepony has to be there to rein you in, honey." Spoiled snaps back.
    >A short, awkward silence lingers.
"Well, I think we've taken up enough of your time, Ms. Lining. I'm sure you have tons to do today." Filthy chuckles.
    >"Y-you're right. I was just about to finish up shopping, as a matter of fact. It was so nice to finally meet you two."
    "Likewise." Filthy responds.
    >You start making your way to the register.
    >Despite not actually having finished your grocery shopping.
    >You just want to get out of there.
    >The cashier finishes up your transaction.
    >You make your way toward the exit with what few items you actually picked out.
    >You look back and wave at Filthy and Spoiled as you exit the store.
    >They wave back at you with smiles on their faces.
    >As Filthy and Spoiled wave back.
    >Filthy turns to his wife.
"Nice mare, but she's a nervous one, isn't she?"
"A little too modest for my taste." Spoiled responds.

    >Silver Spoon thinks she's the second richest filly in Ponyville
    >The reality is that her mom, Swirl Spoon (39) is the manager of Ponyville’s junkyard, which she inherited from her uncle.
    >Swirl vowed to give Silver a life of luxury in spite of their situation. And goes through great effort to maintain such an illusion.
    >She started by splitting the junkyard in half, leaving one side as the business, and making the other side the “Spoon Estate”.
    >Silver’s Aunt Sugar and Uncle Roller – former free spirits who ran out of money traveling Equestria – stay with Swirl and Silver, under the condition that they pretend to be sets of twin butlers & twin maids. They accomplish this by putting on slightly different outfits and changing hairstyles at various points in the day. Silver is thus completely unaware she even has an aunt & uncle.
    >Silver’s given luxuries like daily tea time, where she’s served "green tea" made from lawn, tree, bush, and ivy clippings.
    >Her favorite food is “Steamed Hays”, which is just hayburgers that Swirl presents in a fancy way.
    >Most of their “fine cuisine” is a similar upscale presentation of Hayburger & Clover Cafe items, canned soup, or frozen dinners.
    >Silver does however, get one quality cake on her birthday; a secret sympathy gift from the Cakes.
    (1/2)
    >>
    >>43537983
    >>43562426
    >>43568903 (me)
    >Her necklace is just some steel pellets strung together and spraypainted with shiny blue paint; her mom claims they’re ultra-rare “blue pearls”.
    >Similarly, the “silver” items in their enclosed hutch – which Silver isn’t allowed to touch – are just plastic items with chrome-y paint sprayed on them.
    >Also in the hutch is the “fine neighsian”, which consist of intricate designs drawn on paper plates by Swirl.
    >Swirl has also decorated their house with “abstract modern art”, which are really just Swirl’s horrendously poor attempts at painting.
    >Silver's closet contains an assortment of dresses “custom made by Rarity”, and while they are custom made, they’re custom made by Swirl shoddily stitching together prototype outfit scraps she swiped from Carousel Boutique’s garbage cans.
    >Their “mansion” is a literal amalgamation of old mobile home trailers, RVs, and Canterlot streetcars, all stacked & shoved together, with interconnecting passageways cut between them, and added stairs where needed. Ivy is deliberately grown all over the exterior, in order to disguise the franken-structure as a normal house.
    >In the back yard is a pool, created by digging a hole in the dirt, lining it with linoleum, and burying a run of garden hose to fill it.
    >From the junkyard also came their two automobiles. One is their “prestige” car for special occations (none are ever special enough); a 1959 Caddleac, which is kept nice with spraypaint, but has a blown up engine and no suspension. The other car is a 1978 Chrystaller LeBaron, kept barely running by virtue of having 3 other junked ones to pull parts from.
    >Swirl will “manage their assets” by frantically shuffling a small amount of money around different investment channels, scraping what little was grown by the end of the year to pay for Hearths Warming gifts.
    >The rest of their money comes from whatever profits they can make off the junkyard business, which is operated by Roller & Sugar, and Swirl whenever Silver isn’t home.

Not really sure what a 10-13/yo filly would be coding on a DOS computer (other than a strategy game of some kind).

On the left is what appears to be a DEC PDP-11 computer, in the middle an IBM 726, and she is typing on a VT52 terminal so it's consistent, probably runs UNIX not DOS.
She has a surprised expression, as if reacting to seeing you discussing human tech. She does not look annoyed or bored.

Careful with the pose and details also straight lines leading to her, racks are not curvy.

Now I think about it: MLP spin-off feat DT and Silver as bullies in improbable situations like >>43585730, if FiM is Daria, this is Beavis n Butthead. Diamond is Diamond, impulsive, mad, expressive. Silver is the smart one, less chaotic but confident.
    >ponyville is in chaos.
    >Silver stands before the monster shouts “This town isn't large enough for two bullies”
    >“what kind of gun is thisss”
    >“a GUN”
    >“oh ahaha I'm terrified, a little filly withh a ssspace weapon”
    >she's shooting the villain, despite his powers or size he's wounded and bleeding
    >“Fuck. Fuck!”
    >dt is coming “Sorry I'm late, oh you shot him”
    >“he makes me sad, he wrecked the hayburger house, I should finish him.”
    >“not worth it, look at that pathetic being. living in ridicule is a worse life, at best his ass is gonna end on the moon, haha, hey you think”
    >as they're leaving and turning their back, the evil creature is preparing a last attack at them, summoning an energy ball.
    >Silver notices a ray of a red magic spell reflecting on Diamond's face, mocking him, she spins and shoots him twice with her space pew-pew with most ponyville as witness.
    >Heroic standoff, everypony cheers.

It's impossible to combine filly and badass but this is a silly, absurd mix.

Hey, yeah I'm the writer for that fic.
I got burnt out writing it, and honestly yeah I had a real problem with scale. I was a slice of life fic that kinda spiraled with all my ideas that could have been their own separate fics. Sorry for not updating it.

Also I got banned off fimfic for using AI to help me edit on my recent works. Those works were removed, but the moderators left the stories that were untouched by AI. I got no editors and the AI writing assistant helped me get out of my writer's block, but apparently that's still against the rules so. I'll be moving all my things to Ponepaste and AO3 soon.

    https://ponepaste.org/11868

If there's more attention, I could start continuing writing it again, make it purely a slice of life story and cut off all the insane ideas I had in my writing notes.

    >they built a house with a lock on every door and forgot the walls are paper
That line goes way too hard to be coming out of Spoony

    >week two without keying up
    >I'm good at not talking. Turns out I've been practicing for years
    >Silver Spoon, supposedly daughter of very rich ponies, has a great saddlebag collection, a summer house in Baltimare and a mom who “simply cannot do lunch”
    >It's true though, she owns an apartment in Baltimare but it's certainly collecting dust in some old apartment building no one would rent.
    >the truth is a rented house, mom who does night shifts at the laundry, because she lost her job and one hat I rotate with three ribbons
    >nopony in Ponyville knows. DT doesn't know. Sweetie Belle doesn't know
    >I've been running a cover identity since I was six
    >stare at the notebook at 2 AM and it hits me: I'm not new at this
    >I'm just finally doing it for something that matters
    >so, the question on the one hoof: I heard Sweetie Belle's private talk with her sister. That's gossip. That's provacy invasion, I must stop that.
    >I heard a mare ask “what if I find anything?” and a pony answer “do nothing”
    >I should have felt like a creep, and I did, for about a day
    >then the headline came out and every name matched
    >so what is it? A pervert whose victims died, or a hero nobody knows exists?
    >write both words in the notebook, MATH column, draw a line between them
    >the line doesn't separate anything
    >the difference isn't what you hear, it's what you do after. And so far I've done nothing
    >that's the part that scares me. Doing nothing is also a choice. It's just the one that looks like fractions, which really is easy math.

    >Friday, 2300
    >finished charging the device by improved DIY means, so here goes my boredom killing session
    >been scanning the low band for weeks. On the borderline of the dial, where the static feels like breathing, there's a tone
    >the sound is distorded, noisy, three notes of a music box, same melody every time, a lullaby with one note wrong
    >then a mare's voice, bored, perfect Canterlot diction
    >«Four. Four. Seven. Four. Four. Seven.»
    >then groups of five digits. Just digits. For eleven minutes
    >«Seven-two-one-nine-four. Zero-eight-eight-three-one. Nine-nine-four-two-six»
    >then the lullaby again, and nothing
    >...so that's one of those numbers station, I've read about those.
    >In the human's backpack there was a battered paperback about them, he left it for me to find.
    >Number groups, a one-time key, a reader who doesn't know what she's reading, smart method to exchange private information
    >if the key is truly random and used once, nopony can ever break it. Not Twilight, not Celestia, in theory.
    >write the groups. 140 of them
    >count digits. Every digit from 0 to 9 appears with the same frequency, ±2
    >flat as a table. Good. That's what a perfect cipher looks like
    >go to bed feeling stupid and small. It's a wall and I have a pencil

    >Trixie
    >Compromising info
Spoony goes on a national spy thriller adventure only to find out Trixie exclusively communicates with fellow waggoneers, and the 'compromising' info was just truck stop gossip and hotel reviews. Maybe ONE instance of regrettable one night stand sex, so buried in code and racially-charged language that Spoony thought Trixie was plotting an attack.
    >Flim Flam
They speak plainly about 'business opportunities' that sound completely chaste but are actually code for wayfair pizzagate type atrocities, as the brothers work for Geoffrey Griffstone. While Silver Spoon was chasing down a romani horse over a restaurant review, Noi and Dinky had to rescue Diamond Tiara from the Griffstone Island.
