    Status report: Went out a day early as we are taking a trip now tomorrow, donks given head rubs and ear scratches, as well as leafy carrots, including one each on your behalf. One brayed shortly after I came by and the other right after I left. They were stabled last week but with better weather they were outside today which was nice to see. They're both very docile but the larger one often tries to obstruct his brother from eating, so I have to distract him with leafy ends so the other can eat his carrots, though both are very well-nourished. I was more focused than I wanted to be on making sure some children didn't hurt themselves since their chaperone was rather inattentive so I regrettably couldn't get all the photos I wanted; next time. They are lovely creatures.
