part 1 of 2: from Egypt through Plutarch to Guénon's Cairo letters. Pages and letter dates are in the image.

>Egypt: the Big Dipper is the cut-off foreleg of Set, the red donkey-headed god who killed Osiris, chained to the pole "so that it can no longer sail among the gods" (Pap. Jumilhac)
>for ~4000 years all seven stars never set at Giza. From c. 40 BCE they started dipping below the horizon one by one
>Plutarch: "the soul of Typhon is the Bear"
>Greek magical papyri feed the Bear the fat of a black ass
>Guénon, writing from Cairo in 1932: the only thing that survives of ancient Egypt is "a very dangerous magic of a very low order", the mysteries of the "donkey-headed god, who is none other than Set or Typhon"
>same letters: the blood of black animals, a Sudanese region of 20,000 people who take animal form at night, and a bear "attack" that left a bite on his neck
>his reading of the "reversal of the poles": the world falls faster and faster toward its lowest point, calls the fall "progress", and is only set upright in an instant at the very bottom

Part 2: Kabbalah, the Golden Dawn, the towers, and what Guénon's readers did with it.

>Kabbalah: Azazel's goat, Samael as Esau's angel, the elder serving the younger, the moon made small
>Golden Dawn: Samael = Typhon; the 7-headed dragon grows an 8th head in Daath; Earth's pole is in Binah, "a place of trial"
>Guénon's "seven towers of the devil" come from Seabrook, who actually visited the Yezidi tower at Lalish in the 1920s and photographed it (pic in the first chart)

>Guénon's "seven towers of the devil" come from Seabrook, who actually visited the Yezidi tower at Lalish in the 1920s and photographed it (pic in the chart)
>after Guénon died, the Robin school turned it inside out: Seth as the hidden polar king who returns when the poles flip

The whole thing turns on one old pattern, the low raised high:

>"And all the trees of the field shall know that I, the Lord, have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish" (Ezek 17:24)
>"Let no foreigner who is bound to the Lord say, 'The Lord will surely exclude me from his people.' And let no eunuch complain, 'I am only a dry tree.'" (Isa 56:3)

Is the low lifted up and changed, or crowned as it is? The first is redemption. The second is his "counter-initiation".

Who's who in the counter-initiation / seven towers / Green Dragon rabbit hole (1/2)

BEFORE GUÉNON
>Léo Taxil, Le Diable au XIXe siècle (1892-94): the Luciferian "Palladium" hoax, confessed 1897. Guénon: a "donkey head" was behind it, true and false "skilfully mixed"
>R.I.S.S. (Mgr Jouin's anti-Masonic review): L'Élue du Dragon (1929), a seven-headed dragon in an 1874 lodge. Two of its writers died in 1931
>Inquire Within (C.M. Stoddart, ex-head of the Stella Matutina): Light-Bearers of Darkness (1930), Trail of the Serpent (1936). Serpent = Messiah, Leviathan in Daath
>W.B. Seabrook, Adventures in Arabia (1927): seven towers of Shaitan from Manchuria to Kurdistan, each with a priest "broadcasting" evil. Visited and photographed the Lalish tower
>Marquès-Rivière, Vers Bénarès (1930): first "Sept Tours" in French

GUÉNON
>"Sheth" (1931): the donkey-headed god
>review of Seabrook: "the seven towers of the devil"
>Reign of Quantity (1945): counter-initiation, the great parody, the Antichrist turning the wheel the wrong way
>letters 1932-37: the donkey head, "pharaonic" magic, Sudanese lycanthropes, the Agha Khan as cover for a tower, five regions plus two "towards the Urals or western Siberia"
>1933: "Anubis, after all, was he not the son of Set?"

GREEN DRAGON
>"Teddy Legrand" (Pierre Mariel, per Parvulesco), Les Sept Têtes du Dragon Vert (c. 1932): seven-headed occult directorate behind Rasputin and the revolutions. Guénon: "a mixture of true and false"
>Pauwels & Bergier, Morning of the Magicians (1960): Haushofer in a Green Dragon order, Tibetan "Green Men", Vril. No documents
>Meyrink, The Green Face (1916). Guénon: "sinister"

AFTER GUÉNON: THE "SETHIAN" SCHOOL
>Jean Robin: Seth le Dieu maudit (1986), Hitler l'élu du Dragon (1987), Opération Orth (1989), Sociétés secrètes au rendez-vous de l'Apocalypse (1990)
>Seth's soul = the Bear; 72 Sethian Unknown Superiors behind the Green Dragon and Hitler; towers = the Dragon's heads; Hitler in a hexagonal casket under Antarctica
>1992: says those books "in no way reflected the substance of our thought"
>Jean-Marc Allemand, René Guénon et les Sept Tours du Diable (1990): first to draw the towers as the Great Bear
>"R.P. Martin" (never a priest, per Palchine), Le Renversement (1984): post-war Black Order, Asgârd, the Sankt Pauli, Antarctic bases
>Cadiou (c. 2018): Seth = Nimrod, Green Dragon -> Haushofer -> Putin's "Eurasian Empire of the End"
>Lamy, Les Templiers: repeats Robin

RIVALS AND CRITICS
>Jean Parvulesco, La Spirale prophétique (1986): Robin's rival, says he went over to "the nocturnal cause". Has his own Black Order-as-Temple theory
>Vâlsan circle (Guénon's Sufi heirs in Paris): hostile to Robin
>Palchine (2016): critical history of Guénon's heirs

NOVELS AND ONLINE
>Le Labour, Sierra (2014), Flandorfer (c. 2017), Lithner (2022-24): the towers as the Big Dipper, Melek Taus litanies

SCHOLARS
>Godwin, Arktos (1993); te Velde, Seth, God of Confusion (1967); Höhne on the SS "Black Order"

>chain: Seabrook + Legrand -> Guénon -> Pauwels & Bergier -> Robin/Allemand/"Martin" -> Cadiou, novels and online
