Hey anons quick question, there's a bunch of greasy black stone objects (sea-stone chair), forts (Moat Cailin), cities (Yeen, Asshai) that pre-date Valyria, the people who westerois scholars wrongly think must of built all the black stone stuff, and probably the Long Night too.

What are the structures made from FUSED black stone that pre-date Valyria/the Long Night? It seems to me to just be the Five Forts and the base of the High Tower. Are there others? Very telling to me if not.

I think the anon who read my theory and said the lizardmen survivors of K'dath fled Essos to Westeros to modern day Old Town, and the first Ironborn pursued them there and killed them, hence why its called battle Isle was correct. Oceanic Deep ones were at war with surface lizardmen, lizardmen built the five forts from fused blackstone, lost K'dath and fled, founding Old Town (more like New Town kek) then built the base of the hightower also of fused black stone.

Deep Ones and lizardmen were from the same ancestors, hence their use of blackstone, one was greasy because aqautic water magic made it I dunno, the others fused because fire and surface magic.

The Hightowers are of Ironborn stock, which I think is a reveal for when Leyton Hightower becomes opnely in league with Euron as they are both apart ofthe church of Starry Wisdom cult (Eurons High Priest). Which is a nod to lotr, Leyton is Saurman (evil wizard in a tower) serving an evil master who uses the Heraldry of a red eye (Euron)

I find it disheartening how the stones of ASOIAF are already set and there is not much left to speculate.
No one is rooting for the Tyrells or Cersei because it's symbolically written out that they have already failed.

There is still a lot of brilliance to be had in a predictable storyline, but I much dislike how the books will inevitably center around everyone's demise so that Jon can become Azor Ahai.

Arya will be the one to snap Theon back to reality and play a huge role in redeeming him once she makes it back to Westeros. >Yeah so I’m definitely thinking lightbringer was an arakh now.
Right cool pic anon, however how do you explain Dawn? Dawn is clearly meant to be Lightbringer and is a western European straight sword not an arakh or curved blade
    >Mysterious magical blade that glows with a white light
    >At least as sharp as Valyrian steel swords but they're black and evil since the metal is made from blood sacrifices.
What IS Dawn if not Lightbringer? Was Dawn a reforged blade of Lightbringer like how Ice was melted down? To hide it's identitiy by changing its shape? Is it just the first straight european sword ever made?

    >what is dawn if not lightbringer?
A sword made of starsilver, an artificial material made by a technologically advanced race of spacefarers for their starships
    >”walgraves own chain had links of steel and iron, soft lead and common silver, bronze dark and white, lead, brass, tin, copper, yellow gold and white gold and red gold, ... but none of Valyrian steel, nor the queer milky metal that the Citadel called starsilver. - AFFC rough draft

George is self referencing his book “windhaven” here. In that book, space explorers crash land on a primitive planet and the survivors scavenge the crashed spaceships for their special lightweight incredibly strong metal material, described as a bright pale silver-colored material just like dawn. The god on earth was said to come from the stars, and went around in a giant “palanquin” carved from a single pearl. This was actually a space ship made of star silver. His decendants who built the great empire used this material to make swords, as seen in danys vision of pale haired kings with pale swords and gemstone eyes. The ancient daynes tracked down a “fallen star” and made dawn from its metal. This fallen star was actually a crashed starship made of star silver alloy

Good stuff, only thing I’m not sold on is azor ahai sacrificing himself to make the wall. I like that anons theory that dany saw his life in the house of undying visions and he was sacrificed by cotf with obsidian to make the others like how the night king was made in the show, it fit really well

Azor ahais invasion of the north = Napoleon invading Russia

The idea for Asoiaf came to George when he was working on a book called Avalon. George described it as a “sci fi war and peace”. War and peace by Tolstoy centers around the napoleonic wars and the invasion of Russia by Napoleon that led to his downfall. It is a critique of the “great man” theory of history, and involves prophecy and comets. Napoleon thought himself a great man on a prophetic mission whose destiny was to gain power over all Europe, a hubris that Tolstoy critiqued as pure ego and delusion. Some viewed Napoleon as a prophetic hero while other characters in the book view napoleon as the literal Antichrist prophecized in the Bible. The French elites and military strategists attempted to predict battle outcomes using esoteric portents, theories and calculations, only to have their prophecies shattered by the chaotic reality of war.

The biggest prophetic sign in the book is the Comet of 1811, which appeared right before Napoleon's invasion of Russia. Napoleon took this as a sign of his inevitable victory over Russia while the Russian populace saw the comet an omen of a coming apocalypse.

George recycled the ideas for his sci-fi war and peace and used them for the ancient history of his new fantasy verse.
Azor Ahai eventually came to Westeros after conquering Essos, coming into conflict with the children of Forrest. Northern westeros was the last of the lands yet to be conquered by him. A red comet hung in the sky, azor saw it as an omen of his impending victory that would give him dominion over the whole world. And this cold frontier would be his downfall, much like napoleon and adolf Hitler were brought low in the frigid lands of Russia after attempting invasion. The cotf captured him and sacrificed him to create the others, leading to the long night

There's a lot to discuss with your post anon, I utterly disagree that there was two long nights. There was a single long night which broke the arm of Dorne, I can't see such a catalsymic event happening more than once and one being tiny to be so localised just the ancient first men from the North and COTF handled it. No I think thinking there was several Long nights or a mini long nights can warp your view of world history.
    >>Hightowers snycretic OG religion of bloodstone emperor cult of starry wisdom with andals culture creating faith of the seven
Huh this is fascinating I hadn't thought about this, I thought Leyton Hightower just got into the Church of starry wisdom from travels to the east, but this implies that the Hightowers have always had a hidden faith to the one they publically exposed (since im sure they remember the ture teaching of the church and the faith of the seven being the watered down censored one)
    >>First migration, Great empire of the dawn people settle in westeros, they're refugees because of civil war between amethyst and bloodstone i.e. dayne, hightower and other minor coastal houses
I don't think this first migration settled very much of westeros, you've got Old Town, the Iron Islands and maybe remote parts of Dorne like House Dayne. I've been working on my own theory since I've got the time finally (shrike theory 2.0 coming soon) and I just don't see the Blood Stone Emperor colonising all of Westeros and going all the way north and building the Wall, the only mass human migration wave where that happend was after the first men arrived but you've placed the bloodstone emperor as coming before then. Unless you think the bloodstone Emperor lived for hundreds and hundreds of years and then died in Westeros?
    >>
Realistically, what would Eddard Stark have done if notorious J.O.N. had been boon with purple eyes and silver hair? Pass him off as a Dayne?
    >>
    >>25621674
People already thought he and Ashara Dayne were a thing. It would be even easier to say it was his bastard with her then the current cover story of it being his with some unnamed unknown woman. I wouldn't be shocked if that was the game plan he had in his head for the first few days before Jons hair grew out and he opened his eyes and they were stack coloured and not violet.
    >>
    >>25621674
Eddard Stark has a sub 90 iq. He did not consider that possibility, and if you asked him, it would go something like this:
    >What would you have done if Jon was born with purple eyes?
    >But he has grey eyes.
    >Yes, but what if he had purple eyes?
    >...But he doesn't.
    >What was your plan if Jon didn't look like a Stark?
    >...Plan?
    >Nevermind

Realistically? Probably have Howland Reed raise him. It is the one place in the north someone can hide indefinitely, Howland was loyal directly to Ned, and it would not have brought another person into the conspiracy to hide Jon.
    >>
    >>25621674
If only there was a woman from a family known for having pale blonde hair and purple eyes that he was rumored to be seeing that he could credibly use as Jon's mother...

The winged night in the vale was theorized by one maester to be a dragon rider, who warred with and vanquished rival dragon rider the griffin king. He was said to have had a child with a COTF.

Another figure from ancient vale lore is Alyssa, whose name sounds Valyrian esque. According to legend, Alyssa saw her husband, her brothers, and her children killed in front of her

A similar name pops up in ancient lore, princess daeryssa, who serwyn of the mirror shield saved from giants, the same serwyn who slayed the dragon urrax and was said to have been in service to house gardener.

Garth greenhand = the son of the winged knight and his cotf bride, a half breed with human height and green cotf features

Serwyn = warrior in service to winged knight bloodline/gardener

Urrax = dragon from the griffin kings faction that serwyn killed

Daeryssa = daughter of the winged knight

Alyssa = wife of the griffin king, who’s family was killed in the civil war

    >The eunuch paused a moment. "My lord, you once asked me how it was that I was cut."

    >"I recall," said Tyrion. "You did not want to talk of it."

    >"Nor do I, but . . ." This pause was longer than the one before, and when Varys spoke again his voice was different somehow.

If Sansa was a modern girl, would she be a queen bee and bully towards people like Dany or Hodor?
    >>
    >>25625351
No, she's the sweet and naive girl that's popular but some people find annoying. Dany and Marg would be the queen bees.
    >>
    >>25625393
Marg I can see; Dany is Carrie-lite without her dragons

    >>
    >>25625482
Even without her dragons Dany is probably one of the most charming characters in the series. She knows like five languages, has no issue ingratiating herself with any group of people and her appearance is consistently described as being stunningly beautiful, not strange. She would absolutely be the most popular girl in school archetype.

She 100 percent has meltdowns and carries around dino plushies. Her physical attractiveness eases the burden of being teased by boys but attracts the jealousy of other females. Encouraged by her brother's stories of her mother's popularity, she 100 percent engages in schemes to become queen bee but is humiliated each time
    >>
    >>25625500
Dany would sign up for a gangbang by frat dudes and then have a meltdown when word got out and claim she was raped
    >>
    >>25625526

Viserys is Nani if Nani was white, male and bipolar plus mentally disabled.

how will their romance go in the books if it ever comes out ?

    >>25625722

    >>
    >>25625722
Drawn together as allies of convenience against Cersei/fAegon, will probably grate on each other at first, but then they will fall desperately in love. I don't get the people who say it'll be a minor thing, GRRM is a romantic when it comes to interpersonal relationships unlike his cynicism for politics, and he has foreshadowed Jon being Dany's true love rather forcefully by this point. The fact that it's incest means it's even more likely to happen. Of course, it will end tragically like all true loves in ASOIAF.

What's the equivalent of Sam killing an Other in a highschool au?
    >>
    >>25625792
The Watch is the incel club, say chess. Jon got kicked out of the jocks, and Sam is the fat loser nerd. Thorne was also kicked out of the jock clique when Bobby B. successfully challenged Rhaegar as sportsball captain. Thorne was a freshman lackey for Rhaegar but now is a sullen senior waiting to go to college. The Others are a rival school, as are the Dothraki, the Dornish, and the Free Cities. The Others' school is only competitive at chess, so to the chess club they seem really intimidating, but the jocks and the other cliques do not even think about them. Sam killing an Other is him mating his opponent after the Other blunders.
