There has been signs over the years but I realised after seeing a lot of different men at the gym that I wanted to look like them and this could mean I am transgender. I feel as if logically it is not worth going through the trouble committing to this. You have to come out to your family and friends, hope they accept you and unless you look like a passing man nobody will take you seriously which means spending a shit ton on testosterone and surgeries that from my research, look dog shit unless you pay good money and get lucky. Even then, not sure I act enough like a man to pass or for it to make sense for me to become one. It seems like in terms of finding a partner as well that there is very few people out there that are attracted to trans men unless they stay feminine looking, then maybe you can get a cis man that sees you as a tomboy. I would be happy to date other trans men but most trans men also are not attracted to other trans men. A lot of men, regardless of gender, struggle to form friendships and create other social bonds and do not have the advantage that if you are a pretty girl you can get away with a lot more socially. Honestly sounds like a really shit life to me and I’ve told myself this many times, but I still come back to the thought of becoming a man and living out that life style every time I look in the mirror, it is frustrating. I would like to finally get this out of my head or act on it, so is it worth it?
