Ever think about how even though you get to transition as an adult you’ll never experience what being your correct gender growing up would have been like? Like you’ll never have your mother teach you how to style your hair or do your makeup or feel safe knowing your father would do anything to protect you. Or have friends your own age and gender to grow up with. I’m finally getting to the point in my life where I can escape my family, but I don’t even know what I am anymore, can I really call myself a women if I’ve never experienced a single thing that a normal women would have?

You probably would have been a loser anyways

No because I transitioned in childhood

Real

I’d way rather be a female loser than some weird in between thing.

In the off chance that you’re telling the truth, did your parents actually accept and treat you as your correct gender or did you just start taking E when you were younger?

honestly you get over it. I transitioned at 21 and this used to bother me but then I got to spend my whole adult life as a woman so in the end its just a small part of things.

I guess it’s not doing me any good to ruminate on it.

>Like you’ll never have your mother teach you how to style your hair or do your makeup or feel safe knowing your father would do anything to protect you

my dad raped my sister.
my mom constantly picked apart her appearance and destroyed her self esteem

i would do anything to have been born a girl but my life would have been just as horrible.

I guess I’m imagining an idealistic version of being a women, my parents didn’t treat my sisters all that well either. Also I’m terrible sorry to hear how they treated you anon, none of us deserved this.

I remember posting this image like a year or two ago after swiping it from leddit, lmao.
>womanhood hinges on having a girly childhood
Cope. We don’t hold the same standard towards stereotypical “tomboy” girls that grew up without a mother, or grew up with multiple brothers. Womanhood is something personal, otherwise we would go around denying cis women who never met the arbitrary and revolving standard to begin with.

Call yourself a woman because of what you do and experience today not in the past.

I think you are coping. Even the most masculine of girls were female socialized. Womanhood = existing as a person without penis
