how bad is hrt at 19
>>
Anything after age like 11-14 (or whenever you entered puberty)
Was over
>>
>>45172024
I know someone who passed who started at 20 and I started at 16 and don’t so it’s kind of luck
>>
>>45172024
age really doesnt matter as long as its before like 30. Its about genetics and how much surgery you can afford
>>
i often get called a gigapassoid and i started at 19 so ur prolly fine
>>
>>45172057
This.

Everything else is just luck. You could be 30 and pass, but its all luck based. Only BEFORE puberty could it work
>>
>>45172024
less good than starting at pre-18 but it's still better than starting at 20 or 21
the worst parts of male puberty are the twinkdeath and skeleton masculinization (eg expanding facial planes and shoulders) that happen in your 20s so if you start now you'll be fine
don't wait to 24 like i did

hmmm
>>
>>45172024
they all fearmongerers, anything pre-25 is gonna be quick, post-25 you’re gonna need like 10 years before u ever pass
>>
>>45174395
Posting some real hopeium
>>
>>45174405
maybe for you lmao
>t. 31 years young

just the fax, a lot of our studies on puberty are super flawed, and end much earlier than puberty actually does, so long as your bodies still in that transitional state, it’s more than happy to change course of development, studies say there’s no vocal changes but I’ve personally noticed distinct changes and less waver in my higher notes when singing/talking, there’s a lot the studies failed to account for even for HRT itself, they claim most changes peak at 2 years, but fat redistro is on average 5 years in before it’s mostly complete, a lot of changes happen later, bone structure has shown to change in early starting *with assumption* it doesn’t happen post 25 which itself is based on a flawed study that had a cut-off age of 25 and defaulted stagnation for all untested ages.

so we truly don’t know if bone structure or a lot of changes actually happen with older people or not, it very well could just be that we see more aging in late-starts and not that HRT itself has less effect. The only things that for certain stay the same is the irreversible effects of T, such as certain hair growth etc, once that starts you can’t really undo it, so starting pre-puberty will always be ideal as some stuff is absolutely irreversible, just not all too meaningful and somewhat common in cis-women so its not a huge problem.
>>
after 16 is a coin flip, you'll probably be fine tho
>>
>>45172057
>or whenever you entered puberty
early puberty xisters...
>>
Not bad depending, I started just shy of 22vand I'll probably never pass but I honestly think if I'd have started at 19 I would have. The last few years before I started hrt were really rough on my body, went from malefailing pre hrt to looking like a troll. Shits fucked

>how bad
I don't know where it came from but there's a trend now of doom spiraling about anyone past an absurdly young age being cooked by default, often because they're afraid to put effort in their transitions, leading to literal teenagers thinking they're lateshits. Please stop worrying about these things and go practice makeup or something, it's the same social media brainrot that gave the entire gen Z age anxiety.

omg. gen alpha newfag!
>>
>>45175300
age matters but obsessing over the fixed past is useless and half the time it's victim blaming someone, usually a kid, for being in an unsupportive environment
>>
>>45172024
Better than HRT at 20, 21, 22, etc.
Don’t waste time or cognitive resources worrying about that; focus on identifying and doing what you can do materially improve your life, health, and transition.
>>
>>45172024
Worse than it could've been, but the longer you wait the more you let what-could-be diminish ever further. There are lesser degrees of victory than sheer blinding perfection, and they are achievable.
>>
>>45172024
Depends on how strong your natal puberty was. You have a small chance at some bone changes.

Honestly, anything after puberty is purely luck. I've seen trannies that passed flawlessly starting in their late 20s and early 30s. I've seen young transitioners get absolutely fucked by puberty before 14.
>>
>>45172024
Truthfully, it's less about age and more about genetics. There are people who transition past thirty and look great, and there's people who are cooked before they're even legally considered an adult.
