devastating news for pooners today as their favorite country has fallen into anarchy
>>45171446boo hoo, they deserve everything they get for causing us 9/11
>>45171446>it's PolandPeople really think ftm = white
No doubt an Israeli-Hohol coordinated operation
>>45171461It's a reference to an ftm here who is obsessed with Poland, speaks Polish, and is trying to move to Poland, despite being Canadian
>>45171461I just learned today that 85% of finnish underage transgenders are ftm.
>>45171472crazy lore if true
>>45171472i've talked to this guy before lol i think he moved already right? honestly it's a perfectly valid choice, poland is a pretty nice country that i really liked visiting, if i had to move again within europe it'd be among my top picks. btw i'm mtf and did basically the exact same thing he did but with czechia lol it's been pretty good but i'm kinda jealous of how poland has multiple liveable cities while CZ has basically just one, maybe two at a stretch.
>>45171877I didn't know he moved. He's a cool guy though despite the autism. Did you grow up speaking a Slavic language?
>>45171892not at all, i'm irish but i have a fair amount of experience living abroad and learning languages. that said czech is by far the hardest one i've learned so far, it took me a while to grasp the declensions and imperfective/perfective and stuff like that, but after two years here i can get by pretty well. it accelerated a lot for me after i met my bf since his family don't all speak english, we're in the countryside visiting them right now actually and it's been a week of full immersion which is awesome.
>>45171971Yeah Slavic languages are brutal. I love them but progress is so slowgoing compared to most other IE languages.
I once knew a pole.who lived in a hole.so i fed him a dinner roll.
>>45172011totally. most non-slavic foreigners here just never learn the language lol my bf's sister is married to a guy who's been here like 10 years and when we all go out to eat together he still asks for english menus. you can survive perfectly fine in prague with just english so a lot of people fall into a language trap but i feel the patience of locals is wearing thin with such people, like english-only jobs in tech etc are drying up.
>>45171446So USAID never went away huh? If it’s an actual coup it’s to install people who will be the next to send their citizens into the Ukraine war meatgrinder, now that Ukraine has conclusively lost and run out of men.
It's a nothingburger.
TH status?
>>45172124Job market just sucks these days, especially IT because it's getting smacked by both AI and India
>>45174303of course, what i mean is that over here at least the IT jobs you don't need the local language for are drying up at a quicker rate than ones you do need it for. means a lot of "expats" who've worked here for 5+ years but never bothered learning czech are getting screwed over. actually for the time being we're still mostly the place that jobs get offshored to rather than from, like my company is a french multionational and it's been moving a lot of jobs from HQ to the czech office this year.
>>45171446ts been going on for 10 years only thing well get out of it is memesnothing ever happens
>>45171446Clean it up jannies
As a polish ftm this is nothingburger tbfEvery other month ahh occurence
