it’s not all it’s cracked up to be, for relationships most of us are in toxic or abusive ones, nobody in gen-z is emotionally well, and for the people doing hookups, they either only care about people sexually and accept they likely won’t ever want someone enough to be with them, and the other are people who accept they’re not going to find a meaningful relationship in their niche and just tolerate/accept the superficial connection because its the best they can get, i used to hoe around growing up, still go on grindr for attention and compliments but that’s entirely because literally nobody i find attractive that wants me sees me as anything other than a metrosexual, they like that I act like a gay man/woman but “am not actually one” because it lets them indulge their desire for queer dynamics without having to break out of their heteronormative box, the ones who see me as a woman either fetishize me or are grossly immature losers i want nothing to do with

i am by no means completely ostracized but i have a really hard time talking to people and reaching out. any chance for me to get into a relationship would rely on the other person pursuing me actively. i also never use social media so that doesnt really help lol.
