>>45163601I’m a skinny pre-T trans guy. I played ice hockey in high school, so I’m not some fat chud. I would sometimes faint but I didn’t think much of it. In college the stress of an increased courseload caused my symptoms to come out more and I was fainting more often (not a good thing to be doing in chem labs). I got diagnosed with POTS. During the same visit my doctor checked me for hypermobility since the two tend to go together and lo and behold, I also have that. Not to the point of disability though I’m just unusually flexible. I genuinely think there is some kind of genetic link going on here between being trans and these conditions.DID is bs though. I mean they’re mentally ill for sure, that much is true I guess

When I was in college, there was a girl who at the start of the semester, announced to the class that she had POTS and said that sometimes she "just needed to lay down on the floor", all while basically visibly gloating. When she actually did eventually lay down on the floor, she kept checking to see if anyone was watching her. They weren't.
