What are currently the best countries for trans women to move to? Half of Europe is right wing. The US is a mess.
>>45159651Canada
>>45159651come to brazil gringxs
>>45159658How realistic is it to move there and find a job, especially with no degree?
>>45159651Do you pass?
>>45159665idk i'm not from there but it seems like a nice place i think
>>45159665Without a degree? Nearly impossible. They have strict immigration policies.
>>45159651where are you from? what languages do you speak? are you willing to learn a different one? do you have dual nationality or heritage that allows you to acquire another passport? what's your job if you have one? are you comfortable DIYing or do you want to move to a place with good trans healthcare? are you comfortable being stealth or do you want a place with community or where being visibly trans isn't a big deal? your answers to all of these will change where i may recommend. i'm a 30 year old trans woman who first left my country at 19, i've since lived in four different countries (three EU countries + the US) and i'm now pretty much settled in a foreign country with my local boyfriend and will likely never move home, so i know a thing or two about this and i'm willing to advise if you're serious about moving. truthfully i think emigrating to a place where you don't have any ties and that isn't obviously economically better off than where you're from is a waste of time for like 80% of people but it can be done.
>>45159651passoid or not?
>>45159949I pass, but would still want a sort of trans friendly country where you don't get murdered if someone finds out >>45159722I'm from the EU, I speak English and a little bit of French. I could get UK citizenship but that's not really helpful. I would prefer diy actually. I'm stealth but I would also like some place where trans women aren't extremely rare so I can make some trans friends.
>>45160081>I'm from the EU, I speak English and a little bit of Frenchirish? just curious.>I would prefer diy actually. I'm stealth but I would also like some place where trans women aren't extremely rare so I can make some trans friends.yeah that's good, your options are a lot broader then. would you be willing to learn another language? there are some good places in mainland europe but you'd need to learn the local language eventually and it's not always easy. you could also consider australia, maybe southeast asia if you want to go further away.
I've heard good things about Spain and Greece from an lgbt perspective but bad from an economic perspective. They seem like the place trannies go to retire.
>>45160101spain is one of the countries i lived in and yeah if you actually need to work for a living southern europe kinda sucks. bad salaries, shitty working culture, super expensive rent compared to earnings in the big cities. spain is good if you're retired or don't have to work or pay rent but it's not a place i'd suggest moving to if you're an economic migrant with no ties to the country. politics there is a bit crazy lately too so LGBT rights may be at risk.
>>45160081Spain/GermanyNot so sure about the getting murdered thing in spain tho
>>45159651canadaany of the nordic countries except finlandspainbig city in a blue US stategermany
>>45159651Seattle
>>45159658Canaada only wants immigrants who r 8/10 or hotter. Among many other requirements >>45159665Fuck off
>>45159665they won't let you in or it will take literally like 5-10 years for your immigration to go through and be considered a citizenyou have to like prove you are working in a good field, etc
Philippines >English speaking >ladyboy culture >cheap HRT >cheap in general >flip boys will worship you as a white ladyboy goddess
>>45159658Last time I was in Canada, there were jeets everywhere. I really thought the indian problem was overstated until I actually went and they were literally in every crevice. Even the small towns were absolutely infested. The place is fucking neo new dehli.
>>45160647ontario is really bad
>>45159664Everyone saying canada but its fucking expensive to keep on living there, meanwhile If you get an income in Euros living in Brazil you live an upper class life in Brazil with all the privileges from upper/rich class people and easy OTC hrt accessYou can pay any surgery in months or get in insurance easy with moneySo its a solid choice Living like a Queen in Brazil or live like a immigrant in Canada
>>45161223if you live in a big city in canada it's expensive as fuck yeah
>>45160647canada has weird demographics and is pretty overrated in general
>>45161265If you got a income of 1500/2000 USD in Brazil you can live in upper class neighborhoods in the bigger cities in Brazil and sustain a Very privileged life With the best health insurance, transportation, location, food and even places to hang out and you would still have a lot of money to spend
>>45161223I'm joking. brazil is a shithole
>>45159651> What are currently the best countries for trans women to move to?zerono country on earth is safe for trans women. every country is engaging in trans genocide atm.
>>45161326>OTC HRT >Easy legal sex and name change>Healthcare insurance gives free FFS and SRS>Cheap cost of living If you're gringo>Everything is damn cheap in their currency>Legal protections for trans people (you could sue corporations for deadnaming you and get tons of money)>If you're the top 10% you're better than the average population and live like rich people from other countries>Being 5 times richer than the average population on average is already a huge Win (If they got a way to keep a income based on where they live If its Europe/usa)Brazil sucks to us poor troon Brazilians from fucked up places, but for a gringo with an outcome of their money they would live a Far improved life than the ones they had before
>>45161362>southern/eastern european quality of life with the crime rate of an african country in the middle of a civil war for just $2000/monthlmao
>>45160206pretty good list but i would add belgium. finland isn’t even bad for trannies as long as you get diy hrt.
>>45161389Crime rate in Brazil only affect you If you're poor or below middle class, living a upper class life in Brazil you wouldnt even touch these neighborhoods lolMeanwhile in Europe/Canada you would be seen as the same as an african/South Asia/middle east Asia immigrant and would have to work the shirt out of your life Just to emulate what an immigrant have of outcome, you would be seen as someone who's taking the work of the citizens and would barely afford housing lol
>>45160534LMAO Canada is full of hideous Indians
>>45159658ah yes r*ddit - the country
>>45162081nta but what's wrong with that?
>>45159651Japan ?
>>45162193lmao
>>45161874>just get a bulletproof car (not enough for hell de janeiro), live in a gated community, and never go out. then you will be safe hon
>>45162289Who would be stupid to live in Rio anyways? You can literally live in São Paulo Just Fine in a good neighborhood
>>45159651Australia is nice but only if you’re already girlmoding, the weather here is way too hot to wear a boymoding hoodie for most of the yearalso you won’t be able to wear warm women’s fashionbut other than that it’s really good
>>45162289wouldn't you still be at risk of getting robbed or kidnapped in an affluent neighborhood in brazil?
>>45162322yeah i was gonna say australia, seems to be one of the few places in the world thats actually getting better for trannies other than canada. i dont think id wanna live there with everything that wants to kill you though
>>45162332yes, it happened to me lel
>>45162332The dangers of other cities Just apply the same standards for any First world country honestly Who would be stupid to walk alone in the streets late in the night?Or going to a more poverty neighborhood Or walking around showing your stuff (Europe is even worse than Brazil on pickpocketing)If you Just go around with Basic security standards in your mind you're not in risk, nobody is stupid to do stuff that would put you in risk, would happen even in switzerland
>>45162374but brazil has much higher crime rates than any western country?
>>45160206nordics are perfect examples of countries i just would not recommend moving to if you don't have ties there. it's very hard to integrate in those places as a foreigner because the people are so closed off and if you want to try you're gonna spend years learning a language you can't even use outside of the country, and even then the people may never accept you as one of them. most of them also have a lot of anti-immigrant sentiment recently. i think someone who's aware of these challenges and ideally has some experience living abroad could do it but 80+% of people would be chronically depressed there. when americans who've never even left their home states say they want to move to norway or something it makes me laugh. germany is similar btw and is one of the most bitched about countries on expat forums (on reddit there are literally a million posts from people who've lived in germany for 5+ years and still feel like outsiders and hate it lol) but at least there you have a couple of cities with big international communities and you can learn a language that opens doors everywhere in europe. just food for thought, i myself live in a small homogeneous xenophobic EU country with its own language and my life here is good but the main reason i ended up staying was meeting my bf. most people who move here last like 2-3 years at most. if you're an english speaker it just makes more sense to live somewhere like london or australia or hell even ireland despite its many problems than it does to live in a de facto ethnostate of 5-10 million people in continental europe lol
>>45162338> yeah i was gonna say australia, seems to be one of the few places in the world thats actually getting better for trannies other than canada.doubt. both anglo countries with federalist systems allowing bigot states to ban trannies from existence. it’s already happening.
>>45162404Most western countries have worst laws towards trannies thoThe only countries better than Brazil for trannies is Canada and Spain, the rest sucks in comparison
>>45162486> Canada and Spain, the rest sucks in comparisonyou can kiss that goodbye in a few years when the right wing win power
>>45162552You give even more reasons to move to Brazil lol
>>45162563>just move to a dangerous third world country
>>45162964Feel free to stay in a 10 years long waitlist with shopping standards becoming worse for HRT while you live the same standards as an indian illegal imigrant
>>45163137diy exists
>>45163184>BrasilOTC HRT for estrogen, you walk in the pharmacy and get your E, could even deliver at you house in the same day, If doctors find out about DIY HRT they would simply rush your diagnose>EuropeYou had to be Lucky that Labs are open and have more Luck that this package didnt got seized, its even worse in Norway as they seem to be more alert about DIY packages, then you wait weeks and If doctors find out about DIY HRT you got to the psych ward
>>45162964desu the crime rates are really inflated due to the northeast and hell de janeiro,if you go living in a middle size city in the southern of brazil (anything below Sao paulo) they have 1st world crime rates, and are really safe even for trannies.
>>45163465>you go living in a middle size city in the southern of brazil (anything below Sao paulo) they have 1st world crime ratesproof? because the murder rates are like 40x higher
>>45159651it's immigrate to.emmigrate is from.
>>45162552in a few years? lol for spain it's more like in a month. the elections were already looking bad for the PSOE but yesterday's tragedy was the final nail in the coffin, almost certain the next government will be right-wing now. the general public has zero patience left.
>>45159651its still the us because of the insurance system. Just go to Washington or california
>>45163674here a quick research shows that the south of brazil is not that bad
>>45164920i don't know i don't trust google ai
>>45164920>Blumenau The Orania from Santa Catarina lol, the neighbor city of Pomerode until decades Ago forbid Black people to move there
>>45165161Hi. Random brazilian lurker here. Live in são paulo (capital), south part of the city. 27 years, never got mugged/robbed.Been to rio a couple times, robbed twiceRio is a tourist trap hellhole. Petty crime is very common even in the upper class areasAlthough I might live in a middle/upper class bubble, São Paulo is generally saferNever seen or heard about any lgbt-related crime in my region
>>45165276Im from sampa too, Eastern region, one of the poorest neighborhoodsGot robbed 2 times and mostly because I was stupid Also didnt got hate crimed here Gotta say its the best city to pity pass its like Seattle from Brazil
