https://www.erininthemorning.com/p/trans-election-night-guide-the-biggest>Election night is coming, and the results on Nov. 3 could be enormously consequential for transgender people across the United States. As the federal government has become openly hostile toward trans and queer people and Republican-controlled statehouses continue to pass a slew of anti-trans legislation, Democrats appear poised to make significant gains, perhaps even approaching a wave election. Races from the state legislative level all the way up to control of Congress will draw heavy attention from anyone hoping for Democratic victories, and transgender people are likely to be among those most affected by the results.>Every year at Erin In The Morning, we watch the elections closely. We report on the results as they come in on election night (subscribe and watch for our live chat if you have not already), and in the days that follow, we untangle what they mean. Before election night, we also put out guides so that you know which races will matter most for whatever narrative emerges about transgender people the day after.>So here are the races we are watching on election night:>The U.S. Senate>Democratic control of the Senate is important for transgender people for so many reasons. Democrats in the driver’s seat in the Senate means a second chamber that can help keep anti-transgender riders out of must-pass legislation, and should Democrats choose to limit the Trump administration’s ability to target transgender people through such bills, control of the Senate would be enormously consequential. The Senate is also responsible for confirming any Supreme Court justices, and Democratic control of the chamber insulates us from further backsliding there.

>>45155150Faith is more important than your fetish. Faith has provided structure to people's lives for thousands of years, while your fetish has led to men like Erin.
>>45155299Erin is cute though.
>>45155299Hrm so if the right cares so much about families values why do they support a white supremacist system that breaks up family structures into easily controlled nuclear units instead of larger tribal family structures? I thought you were anti big government, anti dependency, if you want the people to govern themselves that means family AND tribal values and less of your “faith” in false idols of nuclear families.
It's gonna be a very bad night for the anti-trans people.House and Senate are long gone for them and numerous state legislatures and and Governorships are also going. Like all things, they pushed to far in one direction and voters are correcting it.
>>45155148>Erin In The MorningLol.
>>45155150>stop tolerating faith as the basis for public policyThat genuinely made me chuckle. You don't believe that trans is faith based? ''I believe it, don't question my beliefs''Two sides, same coin. Even worse on the tranny side, because you've effectively forced females into taking penis and balls on their sex segregated spaces.
>>45157626Explain which R laws have banned tribal family structures.
>>45157646>Like all things, they pushed to far in one direction and voters are correcting it.No. It's the nonsensical Iran war on behalf of Israel.
>>45157698Well thats a naive proposition its the marketing and cultural engineering and social manipulation not laws and you know that and you’re being purposefully dishonest.

>>45155148I feel like /pol/fags have been shitting up the board more than usual lately because they know this is going to go really poorly for them.
>>45155148vote blue midterm, wait to see if the democrats put out an actual progressive candidate for 2028refuse to vote for them if they put in a gavin newscum or kamala harristhis is the only way forwardnot like it fucking matters because i already know the dems will win twice and then fail to fix the impending economic crisis caused by trump fast enough, which gets another republican elected
