Yeah the Israelis don’t control the US’s foreign policy. Afghanistan wasn’t fought for Israel, neither was Iraq.

You know, a few weeks ago I saw someone on here post that government employees working in weapons factories were "LARPing as civilians"
That's what it took for the term to finally lose all meaning to me

    >neither was Iraq
toppling saddam was literally a favor for the israelis, Cheney felt bad about not being the goodest goy in the early 90s so he had a second attempt after 9/11.

    Who was Iran for?

Except Israel didn’t view Iraq as a primary threat after the Gulf War, considering the heavy international sanctions placed on it, weapons inspections and the US’s continuous presence over Iraq’s skies during the 90s.

The Israelis prioritised the newly nuclear-ising Iran as their primary threat and Iran’s heavy support for Hezbollah, the PIJ and Hamas was all the more reason for Israel.

So much so that in February 2002 Israeli President Ariel Sharon warned Bush that invading Iraq would destabilise the region and empower the more dangerous Iran, and that the US should focus on Iran instead…
The defence minister Ben-Eliezer echoed similar sentiments.

It is ironic considering that the IRGC had connections with Al-Qaeda operatives and gave them training during the 90s while Iraq never did.

However, when it was clear to them that the US was committed to the invasion they changed their tune, because they didn’t want to be seen opposing their main ally.

And also while the Israelis disliked Saddam, he was a (mostly) secular Sunni, who was hostile to Iran, his removal led to Iraq’s Shia majority taking over, btw much of this new leadership were previously exiled in Tehran during Saddam’s rule.

Iraq’s relationship with Iran deepened, and now, especially after having to deal with ISIS, there’s Shia/Iranian proxy militia groups all over Iraq. The IRGC could also easily supply its proxies in Syria and Lebanon through their newly gained land corridor through Iraq.
The US taking Saddam out led to a power-vacuum that primarily Iran-aligned Shia filled in.

The Israelis understood the dynamics of the region better and they correctly predicted many of the outcomes of the war, but the US didn’t listen to their advice, big dick America does what it wants and gets into horrible unnecessary situations. And to blame it on Israel may feel nice but you end up pulling the wool over your eyes.

    >can killing sub-humans ever be un-based?
It's a rhetorical question since the answer is obviously no.

It's a mount mean for machineguns.

The BAM mount is designed for quick distance compensation when using an Red-dot sight. Featuring dual knobs calibrated for distances from 200 to 1000 meters (depending on model and caliber), the BAM also supports attaching an Aimpoint 3X or 6X magnifier using an Flip Mount ring or the Aimpoint TwistMount for enhanced long-range accuracy.

The integrated Flip Mount/Aimpoint Twist mount base ensures that the red dot remains centered in the magnifier or night vision device as it moves parallel to the sight. This eliminates the need for hold-overs, allowing users to simply adjust the knob to the estimated distance and aim directly at the target. The BAM is effective for both machine guns and rifles.

    Standard Versions:

    Twist Mount (Aimpoint TwistMount):

    800-meter version: For 5.56 NATO. SM-101QD-2
    1000-meter version: For 7.62 NATO. SM-101QD-1, NSN 1005-22-639-7272
    Flip Mount (Patented):

    800-meter version: For 5.56 NATO. SM-101QD-4
    1000-meter version: For 7.62 NATO. SM-101QD-3
(Custom calibrations and distances are available upon request with a minimum order quantity.)

Additionally, the BAM can be configured to mount two red dot sights, each zeroed for a separate barrel on a machine gun. This allows the gunner to activate the sight corresponding to the active barrel, improving first-shot hit probability without the need for tracers.
